Alan:

For what purpose do you believe this World was created?

Regarding Dahmer saying evil caused him to do what he did, considering the things he did, could his word be trusted?

I believe that in order for the contrasts to exist that enable the lesson this World provides to exist, the possibility of evil coming from any of us exists. For example, we can't fully understand what humility means without understanding what arrogance means.

Perhaps Dahmer was influenced by unfriendly spirits.  Perhaps spirits who used to be human and went down the wrong path before dying. If his consciousness was already manifesting in a similar way, perhaps partly because of the influences of a difficult father, perhaps an unfriendly spirit or two was energetically attracted to him. I've noticed that unfriendly spirits like to pick on children.  Perhaps a sign of their lack of true strength.

When I was five years old I lived accross the street from another five year old boy that was a monster. At the age of five he did some terrible things. It probably didn't help that both of his parents were alcoholics. Did such a young child have enough knowledge to make good decisions?

I'm with you Alysia. Smiley I believe the statement "love your neighbor as yourself" goes a long way. Even when it's applied to those who forget it. It isn't the negative actions we love. It's the spirit who makes use of them. Just as a loving parent continues to love a child who goes astray. Until we get to the point where we can love in such a way, we won't love completely.
