after Alan: we'll be together again

Alan, a previous post of yours stuck in my mind. You mentioned finding words that stand out, as an exercise, which you might spend an entire day "reclining" in, so to speak. The words that become BOLD in my mind in the following song are  (please read lyrics provided, and then I will let you know which ones speak to me):

When the crying is over I’ll be missing you still
When mountains and valleys become rolling hills
When I’m finally standing on that desolate plain
I have but one dream that we’ll be together again

When the crying is over and my tears have run dry
I’ll be an old man and ready to die
I’ll see you in heaven, or you’ll know I’m in hell
Until we meet again here’s where I’ll dwell
When all this pain and heartache comes to an end
There’ll be no more tears, we’ll be together again

And when I’m finally standing on that desolate plain
I have but one dream, we’ll be together again

When the crying is over there’ll be no more pain
And when this heartache comes to an end
I’ll take you in my arms, we’ll be together again

Ian McLagan     the Bump Band

http://www.maniacrecords.net/Soundpages/ncrying.htm

----------------------------

Lyrics which are Bold when I look at them: WE'LL BE TOGETHER AGAIN and HERE'S WHERE I DWELL

------------------------------

Perhaps there are others who would like to join in this, just for an occasion to try an experiment. Take any piece of literature nearby which has an emotional pull on you from it. Take a reasonable amount of text to look at. Then notice what stands out for you. What appears BOLD. There will be something, or a series.

Please share, anyone who might enjoy this.

I wonder, in retrievals, or any other kind of exploration, is this how we find each other? Do the thoughts that we think in the afterlife draw to us those who hear our voices in a particular way? Is this how we are drawn into particular areas which, in afterlife reality, belong to others? Is there a Utopian place for each of us, which consists of all that is "Bold" in our own imaginations, that which we believe and to which we are attracted? Or is is a more mutual activity? Can it be so automatic? Is "God" a robot, who would allow everything in Creation to simply "express" -- or is God somehow different? Must all the ideas of what is "real" be collected and condensed into some kind of hothouse rainforest? Or is it a much much much more individual process, our merge with Source as the culmination of life's experience?

Very nice Bets very nice indeed,

I did not start the promised exercise as I felt my post was off the thread topic after carefully reading Docs nice thoughts on the beauty of silence.

Your thread has, however, promted me to relook at what I proposed and I will make a day to do that. I will add your into my compilation.

Isn't that funny? I didn't even notice that he said "Bets" because it didn't occur to me to notice.

Perhaps we see what we want to see more often than we don't.

However, it is uncharacteristic of me to string together a list of questions, at least in this way, and we all know that Bets asks lots of great questions -- she is very curious. Bets/Blink, easy to do. Or Blink/Bets, either way.

Ultimately, all One. I have wondered, after all, who am I, or who have I Ever been? Does it really matter? It is all a gift, and all given.

HI , Blink,

I am so sorry for not looking properly and just assuming it was Bets, You were away for a while so my hasty mind just saw the "B" and assumed it was from Bets. Anyway the comments made must be applicable to your thread as they were based on the lovely poetry

love

This thread is a good paradigm for life in general.

A little nostalgic poetry, a stirring of the soul, and next thing we kinow, all bets are off.

Blink dear,

A night or two before I read the beautiful poem you posted, I had a vision in the between sleep and wake state. It was of a beautiful angel other worldly woman surrounded by a very blue aura or energy, it was very beautiful and I saw her first just looking at me with brilliant eyes, then the picture changed to her looking into a breeze and her long black hair flowing in the wind.

Have you any idea what this could mean? I related this to Bets just prior to your thread on this topic by pm

Alan:

I saw an angelic lady look at me last night (while my eyes were closed). Perhaps she was just saying hello. Perhaps somebody is trying to tell you that regardless of whether or not reincarnation is true, your existence started before this physical lifetime.

I don't mind if people call me R, just so they don't call me A. I don't want to be mistaken for "Alan."   Wink

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?
Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Bob Dylan
-----------------------

Alan, what was her position/which direction was she facing after she looked at you? What, more specifically, was the color of blue in the aura/it appeared beautiful to you?

love, b

Blink,

She was at first facing my body in a westerly direction and she then turned and faced into the wind (with her long black hair flowing in the wind) in a northerly direction. The time seemed to be morning in her reality. So she was also facing into the north wind.

She was translucent of immortal beauty and encompassed in some extremely beautiful blue indigo energy or aura.

The whole brief experience was very spiritual uplifting and wonderfully beautiful. The meaning however eludes me

That's puzzling, Alan. But this image led me to this quote:

We thank you mother, the Earth - Delaware.

We are thankful to the East because everyone feels good in the morning when they awake, and sees the bright light coming from the East; and when the Sun goes down in the West we feel good and glad we are well; then we are thankful to the West. And we are thankful to the North, because when the cold winds come we are glad to have lived to see the leaves fall again; and to the South, for when the south wind blows and everything is coming up in the spring, we are glad to live to see the grass growing and everything green again. We thank the Thunders, for they are the manitous that bring the rain, which the Creator has given them power to rule over. And we thank our mother, the Earth, whom we claim as mother because the Earth carries us and everything we need.

Charley Elkhair, quoted in M. R. Harrington, Religion and Ceremonies of the Lenape, Indian Notes and Monographs, Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation, vol 19 (1921).

----------

The indigo aura is a spiritual color which would be interpreted as positive. Light from the east. A new day begins.

lovely thought, blink

Perhaps worth mentioning, today is, I read, the day of the Buddhist Feast of Kuan Yin/Avalokitashavara, and recognizing our capacity for compassion with all Creation.

Tomorrow is North Pole Day, a celebration of Arctic and Antarctic wilderness.

------------------
Ah Power that swirls us together
Grant us Bliss
Grant us the great release
And to all Beings
Vanishing, wounded
In trouble on the earth
We pass on this love
May their numbers increase

I am the first song I am music I write the song of existence

I am the first song I am music I write the song of existence, I want you all to come together and dwell in my mind. The white land will have rain and the land of the tiger submerged in flood and heat. The watchers your personal angelic guides are watching over the forum to bring about a group mind. Those in the narrow black belt will be very significant

This is how I consolidate the words that stand out. (Blink you will see the meaning of the words you put forward are there but just in different format)

Any way this is just a start of what Source is attempting to convey to us through Blinks thread I think!

Hi All and so the message continues"

I am the first song I am music I write the song of existence, I speak to you by my watchers above the moon.

I am the first song I am music I write the song of existence, I want you all to come together and dwell in my mind. The white land will have rain and the land of the tiger submerged in flood and heat. The watchers your personal angelic guides are watching over the forum to bring about a group mind. Those in the narrow black belt will be very significant.

Beings from within the universal light view planet earth, the winter of the three second man has come and into the vast void they must migrate and the earth revert to original beauty in a future time on the horison not far. The end is not the end but the beginning of cosmic mankind.

The watchers whatch, the watchers watch and plan our exit.
