Hi George,

Rest assured that if there is such a thing as sin, then its not any soul that is doing it.

Also related and of note: in the Gita, Krishna tells Arjuna, "Fire cannot burn the soul".

George,

As I certainly don't want to burn in hell forever, can you tell me if this television know-all about the afterlife had a list of what he and whoever is keeping my eternal score considers to be a sin?

I know my answer / perception may seem a bit rational however.  Shocked
I just dont see any whatsoever reason why there is such a place called "hell" much less burning in it for eternity - okay -

It just makes no sense to me, folks.

I mean in all seriousness. What exact "purpose" stands behind this place called "hell"?
If we wouldnt label things, then we wouldnt even know that the word exsisted.
The "place" itself seems to be a concocktion of "fears", could this be the proof in itself, that hell doesnt exsist in the afterlife anymore than the devil does by himself?

Hmmm, the wondering ...

i agree, hell is here on earth. Earth is usually taken to be the lowest of the seven levels of existence. it really is a crazy world. "The world and society is an insane asylum, but everyone is too asleep to notice the insanity. just as you may not question insane dreams while having them".
