Homosexuality and the afterlife
Feb 8th, 2008 at 10:05am

Hi,

I have long contemplated whether homosexual activity in some form or the other continues inti the afterlife. I was brought up to believe this form of same sex love was a sin, bad and evil and anyone doing it was bound for hell. Much later in life I matured and approached God for a deeper understanding of these sometimes gifted and loving artistic people that have added so much to humanity over    history. One night God gave me a vision of hell and  saw many of history depraved monsters peering out from the smoke at me. Then God tool me to a heavily place and I saw many people that  knew had been gays while alive and they were all laughing and joy-est sharing and a vital part of the light of the  heavily realm I was in. I was then told by God that hell is a place of separation from him for the monstrously evil depraved not these gentle beings. However if they practiced depravity their destiny is the same as every other being.

God is love, Iknow this will not go down well or be accepted by some, but it was an eye opening confimation for me.

I have come to the conclusion(quite easily too) that homosexuals were simply more of the 'other gender' in previous lives then they are now.

Makes sense to me.
My son is gay and I have simply accepted him as he is.
I just figure he was more 'female' in previous lives.

Simple as that.
He is such a thoughtful, caring person.
No way he is evil, or demonic possessed in any way shape or form.

I believe it is wise to have respect for those whose path is different from yours, and to learn from them.

At the same time, it is good to reconize how similar their path may be to yours all along.

Love is love, wherever we may find it.

  I agree Alan.

Some folks who are more fundamental in their views, particularly the Christian variety, look to the story of Sodom and Gomorrah and say that this is proof that God dislikes homosexuality.

Such people don't seem to factor in that there was much more than just homosexuality going on then with those particular peoples.   There was a lot of rape, and other issues.   An aspect of my Greater self was there temporarily and so saw the degree of depravity going on.

I feel that the Creative forces are much more interested in how we treat each other, and the whole of Creation, rather than our particular likes or dislikes.

Personally, i see a lot of people with gay attraction as having had a predominance of other life influence of being the opposite gender than what they are now and thus have a strong pull and attraction to what to them normally would have been the "opposite" sex, but now is the same.

Hi,

Yes I now know that love is love so long as is pure.

But I cant foreget the warning about being confined to the lower realms of separate darkness if one plactice depravity.

Alan....
What forum are you on?
Is that what Bruce spoke of in his books? Or Robert Monroe?
Come on...You would only be in those so-called 'realms' If you choose to be out of guilt or ignorance.

Nothing is going to put you there except your own belief in going there.
Simple...change your beliefs.

I am not going there. No Way! I will not allow it.
