Having a down time today
Jan 27th, 2008 at 11:45pm

I am 74 years old and having a bad day.there are people my age dieing all around me.even people a lot younger that I.and i have these thoughts of death, after all my experiences of seeing people who have past on.past on,i began thinking, past on to where.you see i am still a bet sceard of death. What if there is nothing after death.Im on my compure, and thinking of this.Than out of the blue,a thought comes to mind.you will be never ever be as dead as you are right now.Was this my thought,or is it my higher self.I think no,it is not my thought.it got to be some spirit telling me we dont die,we live on.now i feel ok.its nice to know someone is always there when you need them most.George

George, I knew I should have married you a long time ago
...

I'm a fool not to have accepted your proposal. I'll see you in heaven, we'll have tea dear.

Hi George. It's got to be hard when friends start to die, but at least you have a handle on the bright side too.  Smiley

If we're to be honest I'd imagine there's hardly anybody here that doesn't have their moments of doubt - no matter what our experience the old ego can somehow always in our less up beat moments find a way to second guess it. But in truth it seems to be just that, because when we get back to feeling positive and seeing the whole picture the 'down' position somehow seems equally irrational...
