you're right, but I don't think god has an opinion or preference as his love is impartial.
you're right in this respect; it's not necessary to believe in reincarnation to have a good and fullfilling life. and people won't kill themselves for that reason, anymore than if they are walking by a gun shop, see one, and run in to purchase one with the intention to escape their suffering. we as a people are not always suffering, we do have some good times. no reason to be pushing the envelope, death gets here soon enough. anyone who is into this thought system does regard death as a birth, here in America its not a celebration like it is in other countries.

yes, the pic is me. I got kicked out of my other profile when I was fooling around. sorry to confuse anyone. (like, whos that new kid?)  Smiley

Just one more point to add at the risk of beating a dead horse:
I had a Religious Studies professor once (who happened to be a Hindu) say that she very much disliked the idea of a bad human reincarnating into an animal form, since no animal is anywhere near as terrible as a bad human being.  An evil human can be horrific in the emotional / spiritual / physical destruction that he or she inflicts on others.  A bad animal, in her (and my) opinion, doesn't really exist.  Animals just are the way they are from genetics, environment, upbringing, and present circumstances.  You might have a mean, angry, or dangerous animal, but not really an evil one (because that would imply moral choices that the animal is making rather than animalistic choices).
