Hi Jetguy,

I don't know, but I'm going to start keeping track, because it sounds very interesting!

Since I don't know, I asked Google 'lunar cycle affects dreams' .  It found 425,000+ entries and I scanned about six of them.  Smiley  The one I liked of those said it got its information from Sanskrit sources, the ancient Indian spiritual culture that is highly respected today.  (www.thenewage.com/resources/articles/getarticle.asp?ID=171 )

It said that the full moon is a time for completion--completing projects, completing understandings, etc.
How that pertains to your dream schedule, I don't know.
It just sounded interesting!

Hmm, could be various reasons, both more purely physical, or more subtle energy related, and also somewhat relative to the individual.

Universally, the full Moon is a time when the Moon's energies become rather strong and highlighted in general.     The Moon is not that fast vibrating in and of herself, and is a bit...well...Loony.    A better word is emotionally unstable, and over emotional.   Her energies are a slightly higher octave of "form" or physical.   While Earth is like 1st and 3rd Chakra type energy, the Moon is like 2nd Chakra, and they are strongly linked, and intertwined.

Course the Moon is not all bad, not by a long shot.  She is imaginative, and can help those overly cerebral types to feel and intuit more, particularly in a "gut" way.  She is not quite yet "Heart", that's more her more evolved Sister Venus, who is a higher octave of her energy.

Anyways, the Full Moon tends to be a time of greater emotional instability and imbalance in the Earth.   Particularly those who are more Lunar attuned, are affected.    Conversely, those who too strongly repress their more Lunar like nature, can also have over reactions.

Remembering dreams, particularly in a more vivid and consistent sense, points to an energy system which is more balanced, strong, and intune, on average or generally speaking at least.  But that's a long explanation behind that, let's just roll with the assumption here for a moment.  If you need a more full and better explanation, check out Cosmic Journeys by Rosiland McKnight for a more indepth and holistic treatment of this very same issue.

So, put the two together, a cycle of generally less emotional balance and stability can potentially decrease the overall balance of the human energy system=less vivid and consistent recall of one's dreams.   EurGeeka, we just struck gold, black gold that is (daladadingdingdingding).   A taste o' Looney Moon.

There can be, and are other possible reasons when viewed from the more relativistic perspective, but this is the more general and universal and most average reason.

P.S., there are two energies which more than any other in our little system are pure Right brain energies, these would be the Moon and Neptune.    Can't get more Right brain than these two lovely lasses of mystery, seduction, passiveness, and glamor.  Except that whereas Venus is the higher octave of the Moon, well Neptune is a higher octave of Venus (yes strangely and paradoxically enough she does rhyme rather well with P*nus).
