Hi Deanna went to the healing last night at the spiritualist church on her own as i stayed home to finish my painting, this morning Deanna rang me up and told me that Cindy who is a practising medium told her to tell me ,i was not to write on the afterlife as she has been given a bad feeling about me doing this tonight,i wonder what you think as its made me feel a bit uneasy, also someone said to me the other day that juditha sounds like lucifer and i did not feel good about that either. Sad

come now Juditha, you know your beliefs. You sound no more like a lucifer than the Pope himself. Perhaps this Cindy means you shoulden't write about the afterlife and not here on the afterlife page. Don't believe everthing someone tells you or in the long run you will become weeker and to dependent on what others say or think about you.

Juditha,

You have to ask yourself, why would these people be saying such things? Often, people criticize what they don't understand. Often, people feel above others. Often, people prefer women to be content with traditional roles, whatever that means to them, even if they profess that they are your best friend, mother, neighbor, etc.

And, often, they think they mean well.

It is true that, if you listen too seriously to the wrong people, your personal power will be affected. Anything that you hear that constricts you or diminishes you is not worth your time.

Because you say you are "slightly" worried I have to congratulate you. It seems that a while back something like this might have upset you a bit more.

love, blink Smiley

Hi Juditha-
I recall that Lucifer was the "bright and morning star", the "angel of the morning and bringer of light", hence associated with the planet Venus. Drawing especially upon Mormon beliefs, presumably Lucifer eventually got all caught up in ego and was sent to earth. That sounds remarkably like reincarnation due to acquired karma to me. I've dug out a couple of quotations, not all of which are negative, from the Wikipedia:

"In Isaiah, this title is specifically used, in a prophetic vision, to allude to the king of Babylon's pride and to illustrate his eventual fate by referencing mythological accounts of the planet Venus:

14:4 You will recite this parable about the king of Babylonia: How has the oppressor come to an end, the arrogance been ended?
14:10 They will all proclaim and say to you, "You also have been stricken as we were; you are compared to us.
14:11 Brought down to the nether-world were your pride and the tumult of your stringed instruments; maggots are spread out under you, and worms are your covers.
14:12 How have you fallen from the heavens, O glowing morning star; been cut down to the ground O conqueror of nations?
    (Isaiah, Artscroll Tanakh) "
- This selection reminds me of the actual state of the planet Venus - a destroyed and desolate landscape of poisonous vapors, heat that will melt lead, and rocks that slowly dissolve away in rivers of acid rain and mist. This might have been due to a cometary impact, or it might have been a combination of greehouse gasses plus natural radiation, such as powers our volcanos. Whether Venus was ever a viable place for anything to live is unknowable at present, but it certainly isn't now. Thus, the "bright and morning star" is only bright and beautiful from a distance.

and later on, referring to Jesus - "Rev 2:28 And I will give him the morning star (aster proinos).
Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star (aster orthrinos)."

And then there's this, "The Morning Star in the Qur'an
At-Tariq, "The Morning Star," is the 86th surah (chapter) in the Quran. It begins:
Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim
1. By the heaven and the Morning Star
2. Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is!
3. The piercing Star!
4. No human soul but hath a guardian over it.[6]
The latter verse is sometimes interpreted as a reference to the personal guardian angel.[7]

So it seems that your friend identifies you with (a) the enemy of religion (Lucifer as ego), or (b) the essence of religion (Lucifer as another name for Jesus), or (c)  the guradian angel who protects us (as in the  Koran). I'd say two out of three isn't half bad.

There are definitely spirits wandering about in the world who feel that to go into the light would be their doom because they feel that God would exterminate them. These correspond nicely with the Mormon view of spirits who totally cut themselves off from God, and also with the experiences of many people of the proud and angry spirits who refuse to have anything to do with others, or with God, and who lurk in their own self-made burrows at the bottom of the spiritual ladder. These are the spirits whose beliefs and fears arise from existential dread. They are not the bringers of light of any sort, but occasionally they do get involved with  people as entities who cause annoyance, perhaps bad habits or background thoughts and feelings that don't seem to fit into whatever the person is actually doing. They are readily removed.

I have little doubt that what we do in this forum is upsetting to those spirits who feel it necessary to live on the fear energy of people whom they haunt, and to whom they attach. Your friend Cindy might have such a spook telling her to protect the familiar fabric of fear and gloom, lest the light of reason might destroy their ability to lead people astray - and thus to camp out as hitch hikers in someone else's mind. To destroy the darkness and confusion is the role of a "bringer of light" - hence the title Lucifer, the "light bringer".

My suggestion is to continue doing what you personally know to be true and correct, regardless of the opinions of others. If you are right with God, in your own heart and soul, then all the rest - like problems about writing or speaking etc - is merely a material veil of confusion lying over the ultimate core of truth. Stick to the truth and everything will work. The roller coaster might have a few bumps n the road, but these will be transient, while truth is permanent.
