My Great Grandfather, the nicest and kindest person I know(notice I didnt use the word "knew"), passed this morning at the respectable age of 88. 

I will be attempting contact with him over the next week.  I will post all successes and failures here.

This morning- Dream

I was at my grandfathers house.  However, this was a huge, exotic version of his house.  The ground was actually a pool of water with rocks in it to walk on over the water.  There were ladders going up from the rocks to higher places in the house.  I was with my cousin, me and him spend much of our childhood in my great grandfathers house.  My great grandfather was not there, however.  I have a faint memory of seeing him, though.  I just have am image of him in my mind at this time, and some faint recollection of communication.  I wrote him a message on the computer for him and everyone else to see, since I was not able to physically say goodbye to him.

A little after waking, I attempted to use Bruce's imagination technique to contact and communicate with him.  From this conversation, I was told that he is in a wonderful place with his wife who passed away many years ago.  He said he was proud of me and will be sticking around for about a week.  He said he would remain in contact and possibly even give me a little tour of where he is.  Was this all imagination, or was there some genuine contact here... Im keeping an open mind, as usual.  More attempts to come.

By the way.. I found out before bed last night that it would be his last night with us in this world.  At the time of the dream, he had passed.

What would be great would be if we had people who are experienced with retrievals see if they could contact him as well and give information that only Dude could verify.

I would try but I got as far as sitting in '3D blackness', waiting for images to form, and would get nothing.  Maybe I just need more practice, or am doing something else wrong.
