Greetings,
I should never have mentionned the Pope

as he has nothing to do with my hopes
that new good ideas should gain wide applause
and new good idea men not be thought of as dopes.
Although we urge our souls onward towards God,
the example of JC's life as our Lord
shows that the ways of the world are not turned
toward good. God and what's right do get spurned.
Something keeps goodness and betterment down;
Improvements can't break status quo.
Since our dear souls are good
why isn't life good as it should?
What holds us back, I'd still like to know.
(To Vajra, my fine Sanskrited friend,
Yes, some say I'll rhyme 'til the end.)
The End.
