I ordered Robert MOnroes's first book, Journeys Out of the Body, from one of the cheap partner organisations on Amazon, and instead they sent me today something called "Cold Calling Techniques (That Really Work)"  Angry  And they don't even have a phone number to complain on, so I have sent an email and am waiting. I've not looked at it closely, but I don't get the impression that it's about contact with the spirit world..

'Cold Calling'?  That's funny, Orlando,   Cheesy

as we can tell when some spirit visitors come calling because the space around them gets so cold.

I suspect that some salesman somewhere is reading your Monroe book, wondering how he's going to sell vacuum cleaners or encyclopedias using Monroe's techniques. (Cold calling in sales means contacting a potential customer without having any prior connections or leads.)  Maybe you've indirectly helped that person by 'allowing' your book to be sent to them!

Evidently a shift happens.

My wife was unable to find #6 Melitta coffee filters so that I could get my morning dose of caffeine from my favorite coffee maker.  So eventually she tried Amazon, and amazingly they had them. So she ordered a case of 20 boxes (or 24, or whatever). The next week we received a huge box. Opening it up we discovered one #6 box of filters and a whole lot of packing material. Seems like there's 20 or 24 or whatever filters per box.

After we stopped laughing, she called Amazon, assembled a copy of her initial receipt for her order, the packing slip from the box, and faxed it of to their trouble shooter. Very soon another big box arrived with a full case of #6 filters. The prior 1 box shipment was chalked up as a freebie.

Therefor, if you go through the process of getting in touch with Amazon and contact their trouble shooters, you have an excellent chance of getting either a full refund or the proper book. And if they give you a hard time, use some of those cold call techniques!

Grin Yes, well I'll try! It's not actually Amazon, but one of those companies you use when it tells you you can get the book cheaper. Their packaging slip and website mention their great customer service and how keen they are for you to have a marvelous buying experience with them, but they have no phone number and they's still not answered my email.. I guess I will just complain to Amazon anyway if I don;t hear anything. Oh well, there are greater trials in life than getting an unwanted cold calling book

I've had good luck with them. And the Melitta coffee filter company is certainly "one of those companies" as well. Good luck!

And the top of the morning to you, Juditha, as I toast you with a cup of steaming brew!
