have you ever heard people say they wish they could create their own society and only invite the people they want?  well this guy actually created his own society (in a poor country no less) and solved a lot of the world's problems in that society, like poverty.  what if the whole world lived like that? 

if you think about it, we don't seem to really live in "societies" anymore, the way a village is a society.  we just live in a city.  we could live in a city and have no friends or family in the entire place.  how alienating and terrible.
