So what will the consciousness change be like???
Aug 13th, 2007 at 7:40pm

All the threads about 2012 and the (hopefully) coming change in consciousness has got me thinking a little. Just what is it likely to be like in experience terms I wonder?

I don't really know, but some thoughts:

1. The effect on attitude and motivation need only be very slight if it's universal and maintained over time.
2. It probably needs to be unconscious - if conscious it'd probably cause all sorts of craziness.
3. Our ego or conditioning is the result of living from our prior states of consciousness. Barring some sort of running reprogramming change would presumably only take effect gradually as ego and karma get reworked/worked out over time.
4. There's many many people in the world who would need quite a radical shift in consciousness to get them thinking and acting right.
5. Even a very small minority of regressive types left behind could potentially cause enormous trouble for the world.
6. Solving the current environemental, ecological and social problems requires that not only do we change, but that pretty much everything that's a part of our lives changes too. Science, culture, society, industry, agriculture, etc. etc. Which presumably will take time and enormous amounts of research too, although I suppose a few cataclysms could speed things up a lot.

It's tough to visualise. Have any of you guys been thinking about it?? It'd be a little disappointing (but perfectly Ok too) if it turns out to be a marginal shift in consciousness which we are not aware of, and which produces (as it probably need only do) only very gradual change....

maybe it is basically gradual Vajra.  what I call the shift in consciousness (not my term personally, but adopted) began the moment of birth, but I noticed around 1999 spurts of growth which would level out and another spurt of growth..etc.
along with this I had come here to discover what TMI calls belief system crashes.

each crash got a little easier to slide into the leveling out phase. the shift is universally applicable, but individually worked through. I see it as a part of the gathering where nonphysical beings, earth graduates lend assistance where needed and create energy of healing PUL to those open and needing it to make the shift to a cooperative effort away from wholely selfish endeavors to a world that is not so much into sensationalism and eat, drink and be merry type for tomorrow u die, mentalities.

some folks won't understand a word I just said, so let me list some changes in a single human which may occur, but everyone is different, still, we have many similarities in spiritual growth.

I believe what is happening to me is not that the changes are or must be unconscious, but rather the balance occurs. the unconscious becomes conscious. in the same way that it is said we perceive much information in any given situation, and the info is retrieved by hypnosis or meditation, to reveal all the details we had perceived but had forgotten until accessed. one would be expanded to have access to the formerly unconscious perceptions. you could say we are capable of growing receptor antannae as the energy field of our thoughts, desires and meditations extend the aura outward in a process of embracing the light, which light is energy, which is in harmony with all life when not having a negative charge to it.
this is why I like the premise of the hemisync to balance, or aid in the balance of a split mind. the left side is logic, the right side is abstract thought. logic or left is decision making, orderly principle, right side is artistic and perceptive, and aids the interpretation of the left side. get them both working in balance and you have a growth situation of inner power and smoother sailing in the personal reality creating.

during the shift time seems to speed up, like if you are involved in some work you enjoy or a study of some sort, time gets away. we may have to write notes to ourselves, that when friday comes, to put out the trash for example.

when I say split mind, I mean its a duality world. spirit in its natural state is at one, not split between sub and conscious, on the higher levels man and woman polarity is not split; they are androgenous beings. but thats way above the astral stations and the belief system territories. and theres no hurry to get anywhere other than where you find yourself.

speaking of that; during the shift no matter where you are at, it always turns out to be the right place, as something always happens to show you you're in the right place. some person shows up who needs you or vice versa.

messages from intuition, guides, angels, whatever we call them, mostly we call them nonphysicals here to avoid misinterpretation, messages become more abundant, many containing rotes; an entire thought system from a single word.

the energy around and about is quite intense now; it can be overwhelming like theres a lead weight on your head; when this happens, it usually means you're resisting something that needs to be worked through right away by facing off with it. sometimes it's another mild crash. my guides told me offer gentle nonresistance to change and it hurts a lot less that way.

well, I would be interested to continue this thread, to see what others are going through to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

in a practical sense I have read about cars we will have which drive themselves by programming the address into it; I wonder if the car will know when to brake? Smiley

also, New York, if it's still there, will be able to arrive there in one or two hours by a new type of airplane. we already have a few working flying saucers kept hidden to the public, as well another funny looking contraption. most likely in area 51.

hospitals sometime in the future will become less in number as greater spiritual healing techniques become available and utilized. less car accidents will occur as everyone becomes aware of everyone else and lives more in the present instead of the future which never seems to arrive when running after it.
it will be nice to share the road instead of becoming someone's road kill. Cheesy

so what are the changes in everyone else's life? I don't like to talk about myself all the time. love, alysia

Thank you Alysia, you're a trooper. (in the nicest sense Smiley - that's a term of endearment over here) I guess you've described very nicely the classic process of spiritual opening - the dance of the seven veils by which insight becomes conscious in steps which then have to be processed.

I wonder what happens if the rate of revelation steps up - will it become a lot more painful or at least more raw and unsettling, and if so is that likely to lead to closing in many cases? Most people probably open as fast as they can manage already.

Perhaps something will come on line which makes the going slightly less hard work for all of us??

My wife and i seem to have received quite a bit of info over the years concerning the "changes" both physical and consciousness wise.

It's important to remember that what we call "physical" is kind of a distorted reflection of consciousness.   So, they are both very different, and yet tied into one another while the reflection lasts.   If collective consciousness changes, so to does the physical, the reflection also.

Anyways, in some respects its always "up in the air", and yet there are patterns, probabilities, major paths and intersections to see as well.

My sense is that there is going to be a MAJOR restructuring of so called civilization within a relatively short time period, and due to many factors, economical/social pressures, more extreme earth events/climate shifts, and just more people desiring to live a different way.  Some countries are going to be hit harder than others.   Some are going to be almost completely torn down, and will have to rise from the proverbial, and in some cases literal ashes.

Time wise, its yet still a gradual thing in some respects (the collective consciousness upgrade), i don't believe for a moment that its probable that all of humanity is going to "ascend" within the next few years, or even few decades.   It's possible, just not even closely probable, and there is definitely a difference.   My guidance seems to be rather amused by some of the channeled stuff out there, particularly in relation to 2012 and all the hoopla surrounding it.

2012, more so really started 1998 btw, and there is quite a window or overlapping of all this anyways.  The Galactic Core-Solar system alignment isn't fully or deeply understood by many it seems.

And the physical aspect of the changes within Earth, are directly related to events which happened around the year 1936.

Anyways, the good news is that once the "slate is wiped" a bit more clean, powerful, more balanced and spiritually attuned types are going to be taking a more direct lead in material affairs, and yet truly working with group energies.    This will greatly help the collective a lot, the invisible and visible chains that a few have been strengthening over the years on humanity, need to be severed, and this WILL require a lot, and since most truly spiritual types are not interested in a bloody revolution, then we have to wait for some help from nature and the Elders (meanwhile, we daily need to be examples of light to all we come across, and be ACTIVE, not just passive like so many involved in "spirituality", metaphysics, etc).

Read what He/She says to Bob Monroe in his 3rd book, they talk about the Changes, and He/She hints that humanity would have to be in pretty rough shape before a universally constructive shift really took a strong foot hold collective speaking.   Recognized Necessity IS severe stuff for most of us on this imagined little 'physical' rock.
The stove will and does burn, until you transcend the stove.

good points AhSo.  Many will not want to hear this perhaps, but there is a movie out about creating our reality, its called the Secret. However, old souls will recognize it's never been a secret. It's about gratitude, a viable energy for creating our good.
its a disapline also, for staying in the now moment. if you stay in the now moment, grateful for something, maybe the chance to be alive, it helps to receive direct guidance or intuition in that place, what to do, when to do it, and how to do it.

whereas there is a prevalent belief also in Murphy's law. belief tends to outpicture as does trying hard to not believe in it..that doesn't work either. the only thing we can do is surrender our unknowingness to whatever one's personal god is. and then we commit back to faithfulness and service to life ideals because theres no where else to go.
and also in an emergency circumstances, people's souls suddenly get revealed.. We rally round each other because deep within we care, and nothing else matters but that we do what we can to heal.

its so individual even within the collective, its still your individual path, what part you play. I have a great teacher I see now and then and I take his wisdom with me that it's as complicated and as hard as I want it to be, or I can realize it doesn't have to be hard, the path I'm on. I can let the god of my being take care of me but only if I listen quietly will I hear my role.

amazingly I always take the long road rather than the short cut, I think this is because I like to say "I did it my way." and the guides just say let her do it how she wants, she never reads the instructions until she's on her knees. then it becomes clear. but I still like to discover the instructions as if I invented them. I think we play games this way but one instruction, to feel gratitude for being here, thats a priority and it's rather catching..has something to do with PUL energy.

love, alysia

was thinking, not sure 2012 is anything but a focus point for expectation.

but the shift in consciousness I'd say for the average person? I'd say a shift to "knowing" rather than belief structures which conflict.

The shifts of consciousness that we all speak about are not something that is to happin at some time in the future like 2012 so some date like that. They are here and now. How many of the people whom are looking at this thread right now haven't noticed some difference already. Who would have even been on this site or one like it just some ten years ago. How many of the men here, ten years ago, would have recognised just what this site is all about or even admitted being a part of it. The change is going on now. Is it not our job, or what we are doing here, to help this change to become apart of real time reality?

Having asked the question my instinct (barring some major event) is more or less what you guys say.

Consciousness change is already happening, and needn't step too much to still deliver very rapid progress compared to years gone by. Likewise the conventional reality is changing very fast, and will potentially change a lot faster again when the new consciousness fully kicks in.

Your point about dropping beliefs (and especially the unthinking automatic respect accorded the institutions, high ranking people and conventions of society) in favour of what the heart says being a big step when it happens is so true Alysia.

Smiley it's just that I at one level know this is the likelihood, but at another sometimes doubt this knowing and start to think that maybe I've missed something....

I don't know what that you missed something Vajra. u r probably sensing theres more to come and wanting to get there.

we have a good board most the time, but I'm sure theres groups like us doing those changes as well, only in slightly different format.
if anybody is drawn here, theres a good reason.
theres that unlimited, or higher self to consider we're connected to. What struck me about Bruce's journies, is before his books were written he described being in the phase mode contacting floaters out there. when we sleep at night, we are still yet active, some of us float while the body rejuvenates.
well Bruce is a retriever and he was retrieving folks..to where do you think? here!
I couldn't get this out of my mind as I saw him doing just that and then I started doing it the same. I would have images from time to time of speaking with others out there, when I awoke in the morn. sometimes just a snippet or two of conversation. then it started to happen those whom I talked with would show up here, and I would recognize that I had met them out there.
its very rewarding to meet others out there and then meet them here too. it gives u a sense of your unlimited potential.

we dont know what that we could all be related, at least to term it like minded, if not the same disc of thousands, but surely humanity with the same searching mind. one thing, we all are crossing some bridge where we expose death is not real.
everybody should be happy about that. I saw Pulsar last night out there. lol. he was singing a song!
