Binaural Software

Not sure if this has been mentioned before (its a bit late and the search button just looks so far away).

Always wanted to load up on TMI's hemi-sync stuff, but I can't help but feel that my money might be better spent elsewhere (like mortgage payments). Came across this while searching for alternatives: http://uazu.net/sbagen/

After you install it, the best place to start is the folder "SBaGen <version> examples" which I found on my desktop. Scroll down until you find the focus-level files (focus-27-b, etc), throw on your headphones and then double click the file related to whatever focus level you want to "hear." Keep the volume level at around 20dB. In my initial excitement I cranked up the volume and listened for about 10 minutes, after which I had the pleasure of my ear drums turning normal everyday sounds into binaural beats for about 30 minutes.

I believe that TMI hemi-sync audio is binarual mixed with verbal guidance. Though I haven't done so yet, you could simulate this by playing one of Bruces' CD's while at the same time playing an appropriate focus-level file.

Thank you Patrick, will have a look. Do you reckon they are equivalent? I've looked at Hemi Sync copies before and quite apart from the the copying issue have wondered if they in fact do the same job.

One issue I've found with the Monroe CDs I've had access to so far is that they don't spend all that long in specific focus levels.

Does anybody have a way around this issue?

thanks.  i have used the OOBE "presets" with bwgen.com, but you have to pay past a certain trial.  i never had an OOBE, but i did have some feelings of very deep relaxation/near-OOBE

There is an intriguing inexpensive program from a company called the Transparent corporation called neuro programmer.   at www.transparentcorp.com. ; For a cost of 40-60.00, you get a pre-made program where you can select preset binaural programs, or make your own.  Alpha, Theta, Delta, Beta all have presets.  You can also record subliminal messages to give yourself during meditation - should you be so inclined.
