Gee Alysia I always thought Vicky looked happy in the picture I see all the time with her posts.  But you are right she does look especially happy in these pictures.  What she didn't mention is that in the last picture she is standing near a Native American medicine wheel.

yes Vicky is a very happy soul to my opinion in her essence, I always see her this way and admire her. I can tell by her body posture, she has just had a revelation experience and that would make anyone even happier! lol. Vicky, according to my predictions, I feel this is true from the start, will soon give the world a very fine book of her experiences with spirit, etc. some good things she will say to help us all. love, alysia

Yes, I'm a merry old soul, what can I say?   Roll Eyes

Thanks guys, I sure do love your compliments.  Rob is right, I was standing at the medicine wheel (whatever that is) at the time.  I was not actually too happy in this picture.  I actually had to nicely tell Rob to go away so I could be alone.  I needed to do some deep thinking, soul-searching type of crying.  It helped.  Maybe it's just a woman thing.

Rob, why don't you tell us what the medicine wheel thing is all about?  I guess I wasn't there for the story or don't remember it.

Alysia, the house is where we had our workshop.  Let me see if I can get the details just right.  It was built in 1953 as an Egyptology school (whatever that is) and then later got used by some Native Americans or shamans or something along those lines.  Sorry, it's not that I don't care or don't pay attention, I just have a lousy memory for historical facts.   Huh

The house is HUGE, with maybe about 15 rooms, about 7 of which are bedrooms.  (It would have been loads of fun to play hide and seek in).  That place has a lot of energy.  Was used for a lot of meditation, teaching, and spiritual stuff.

PS--thanks too for the encouragement of my book.  It's coming along nicely, I'm tending to it here and there to make it just right.

I don’t know much about medicine wheels.  Basically they involved a circle of stones with a central marker and sometimes spokes.  The circle represents the way life works and the individual journeys we are all taking.  The symbolism includes the number four: four directions, four winds, four colors, etc. - each of which contains a lot of meaning.  I think in ceremonies using the medicine wheel one of the essential elements is to restore and maintain balance - in your own life and that of the cosmos because they are related.  One of the women in the workshop had done a lot of studying with Native Americans.

Culturally, Native Americans have such a different world view than those of us who are “Westernized” that it’s beyond my capability to explain.  I’d suggest using Google for a quick explanation and there’s a wonderful book by the fascinating Canadian physicist F. David Peat called Blackfoot Physics that compares the perceptions of reality of Western science and indigenous people.   Some of the insights, myths and teachings of Native Americans have a certain resemblance to some of the insights of modern physics and science.  It’s a good book but you need an interest in anthropology and Native American spirituality and culture and science.

Hi Recoverer,

I'm assuming you're referring to my OBE I mentioned?

Well, we look just like us!

Some OBE's are at a level of perception where I feel like I'm made of only energy and light.  Some, like this one with Bruce, felt and looked completely like physical reality.  I've been asking myself why that is while studying my various OBEs.  I've boiled it down to the fact that intensely focused conscious awareness can *fool* the senses and make the experience feel what we consider physical.  I've decided that that is all this physical reality is to us, an intense acutely focused conscious awareness of this area of reality we call the physical world.  While here we feel physical because of our level of perception focused here.  Just my theory so far.

When I'm listening to Classical Music I'm listening to the Beatles, or Cat Stevens.  My wife on the other hand believes that Classical Music was written by an entirely different set of Long Hairs.   Cool

Haha. I thought there was a difference between classical music and classic music. No wonder she's confused. ^^
