this is what love is all about

Hi I know this is off topic,i just thought that this is love,

Love and God bless  Love Juditha

In a zoo in  California , a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet  tiger cubs. Unfortunately,

due to complications in the pregnancy, the  cubs were born prematurely and due to the ir tiny

size, they died shortly  after birth.

The mother  tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to  decline in health,

although physically she was fine. The  veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused

the tigress to fall into  a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could  surrogate

another  mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.

After checking with many other zoos across  the country, the depressing news was that there

were no tiger cubs of the right age to  introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians

decided to try something  that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a m other

of one species will take  on the care of a different species. The only orphans that could be

found quickly, were a  litter of weanling pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the  piglets in

tiger skin  and placed the babies around the mother tiger. Would they become  cubs or pork chops?

Take  a look...you won't believe your eyes!!

Wait until she finds out that unlike cats, pigs don't lick themselves clean.

Momma Tiger: "Hey kitties, it's gettin kind of ripe around here. Roar!!!!!!!!!"

Below is a connection between pigs and spirituality.

Actor James Cromwell became internationally known from his role as Farmer Hoggett, the owner of a piglet in the hit movie Babe. At the age of five, James fell into the ocean which resulted in a near-death experience. Since then, James describes his whole life as a mystical event. After his NDE, James has recurring images in his dreams that are connected to previous incarnations. He states that he has memories of a past life in the days of King Arthur during the Middle Ages.

While the pictures can melt even the most hardest of hearts, the story is not true. Here is a link explaining in detail where the pictures come from:

Oh, and hi to everyone, I'm new on this board. Smiley

Thanks Juditha for these cute photos, and thanks to Stjerneeksplosjon for giving a different background story.

I have once seen on tv a rather eyewetting story, a predator cat (I think it was a lonely lion) had "adopted" a very young antilope (not in a zoo, somewhere in the free savannah in Africa); they walked around together a week or so, documented by cameras. I don't know exactly how it ended, but they got separated, I think the antilope couldn't be found, probably eaten by other lions or hyenas. Anyone remembers this story?

Yes, I saw pictures of that, spooky2, but I never read the story, whatever it was. And don't forget that tortoise/hippo friendship a few years back, that made me melt completely. Smiley

thanks Juditha.  animals really do have nurturing instincts for other then their own kind. I know a story during the Tsunami elephants took off on their own idea to pluck people from the waters and deliver them to safety.  their caretakers opened the gates and from my understanding the elephants knew what to do without a command. this rocked my world. love, alysia
