A friend of mine has some wonderful photo's of ORB's, they where taken in the pyramids.

The ORB's are clear and bright, theres know miss-taking them for dust particals. The photos he has are amazing, all the orbs have geometric shape to them, just fantastic to see. Makes you want to go see them for yourself.

these are neat Juditha, most noteworthy I see 2 orbs on the ladys face, a most unlikely place for light to be reflected on the face itself by say a camera lens, so I would say they are authentic spirit photos. thanks, alysia

Can't resist to make a contribution, just half an hour ago:

The probability to have orbs on the photos is very high with dust in the air near the camera and flashlight on; how you interprete it, is everyone's own matter.

That orb over your left shoulder seems to have a handle.  The handle seems to lead to another orb of lesser density. Somewhat more interesting to me is that you also seem to have a faint aura, visible around parts of your face where the background is neutral and untextured. Also visible around the fingertips of your right hand against the neutral tan of the seat. I guess that if you play with those things long enough some of the glow rubs off, hey?

Hi orbs hunter

Spooky, the one around your hair seems to make your head fall on its side. Did you have a headache or something like that?

I also have a lot of orbs on picture, but I generally despite them,  but I have one that I found interesting.  My cat became very exited for no reason and was always looking in the same spot.

Hi Phantasyman  I think your orbs are good, there are quite a few of them and your cat can see spirit, thats why when he or she is stareing, that is why there are those orbs, because your cat sees the spirit, animals are lucky in that way as they have no barriers and thats why they use the sixth sense, which we have all got but we are not as open as animals,so it does not come as easy for us to use it.

Hi Spooky I thought your orb was good,i took photos last night in my bedroom in the dark as i really felt spirit around me and there are orbs on the photos, yet i took these photos the night before in the same places and there were no orbs on the photos as i did not then feel spirit around me.

Greetings,

That's right, Judith--our pets do not lie!

PhantasyMan, your cat shows that there's more to orbs than just dust! We can't see it in your cat's side profile, but when animals are visually tracking this phenomena, their eyes are set funny--kind of a sscarey feeling until I recall we're here to help, not get scared.  My dog Barnaby is also sensitive to spirit and will follow them with his eyes before they get close enough that I can sometimes feel their energy field.  (I've done two or three retrievals by contacting the energy my dog first senses.)

Also, on the close-up ones or larger circles, a pattern can be seen within, different patterns in the same photo (so not reflected light) and sometimes much more intricate and geometric than would be expected--- for dust.  I'm recalling some orbs sent in by Alysia, I think, where the orbs were large enough to see mandala-like light patterns in some.

Maybe related: When an energy field approaches when I'm 'body asleep, mind awake' with darkness except for prickles of light everywhere, the energy field gets brighter as the PUL increases, both I guess from coming closer. Lately I've been trying to look into the energy field and see if there is more there than light,-and sometimes now there are bits of images, even partial edges that don't complete a subject yet but look like they would if I could hold the same concentration. They seem to be biographical of the entity whose energy field it is.
Shocked  If the patterns in these orbs could be seen more clearly, perhaps they'd reveal similiar traits. But the energy fields I see in the 'darkness that contains light' are usually oval or ovalish and the light is golden, not white/clear.

These photos are interesting but they do not proove anything yet!  Smiley

Cheesy

I'm really enjoying all the pictures too.  To cute!

I was wondering about something.  I've noticed lots of times when I'm giving my 11 month old his dinner I see him looking above my head and smiling/gazing.  He's sitting in his high chair and I'm sitting across from him and it's weird because I've turned around and looked up in the direction he'll be staring at and nothing is there.  I don't have any pictures or anything hanging in his line of vision and all that's behind me is the pantry door.

Do you think he may be smiling and gazing at something I can't see?  Huh

Hi Kate Your little baby can see spirit as his little mind has no barriers, sometimes spirit children will come to play with little ones on the earth plain, but your little one would not be frightened of them as to him they are just children or another child,as my little granddaughter who is now 5,when she was 3yrs old she kept saying that she could see this little boy and she called him daniel and one day when her dad went to sit down on the settee she said ""dont sit there daddy ,daniels sitting there" and he was amazed,i know sometimes kate that they say children have an imaginery friend, but i have always beleived that it is a spirit child that they see and befriend. She does not mention daniel now,so hes probably stopped coming to see her ,but she was never frightened of him.

Juditha,

I've heard you mention that your Granddaughter has said she used to see a little boy.  That's amazing.  I too believe my son is seeing a spirit when he gazes above my head and smiles really big.  It always happens during his dinner time for some reason. I try to make it a special and fun time for him because the TV is off and the house is quiet, that way we can have complete one on one time for us together.  We sing songs (well I sing to him) and talk and babble and we're very relaxed and in a happy mood.  Maybe this particular time of the day is attracting the spirit?

It's really neat to think about.  Smiley

Hi everybody, Phantasyman great pic! The cat really seems to watch the orb; i first thought if the cat maybe does watch the tubular bells hanging at the ceiling, but after checking the perspectives it seems not.

However, I'm still a bit sceptic. What would be great is, if anyone had a picture taken in darkness (NO flashlight) where something of interest shows up.

hi Spooky I've seen some on the internet taken in darkness. theres some fantastic shots, hundreds, thousands, art bell show collects them too, just too many to dispute all the variances of condition, time, lighting, etc....to hard to fake that many just for one moment of glory, whatever. you guys think we have good shots here? Boris knows the best ones.

I'm very skeptical of this phenomenon, but it would be nice if it were so. I have seen my cat(s) stare at nothing sometimes. One time I was talking to my cat, he looked at me, and then suddenly he started staring over my shoulder. Which made me slowly turn around and see...nothing. But it was a bit weird.

its said you have to see it before u believe it but u have to believe it before you see it.
look at this way; a dogs nose picks up scents the human can't..same way the other senses they have, while the human has all these road blocks, beliefs that hinder perception itself from our viewing, the animal has no beliefs, they even react to earthquake vibrations before we can percieve that, so why not the subtle energy changes in the atmosphere when a spirit comes around?
spirits are around, otherwise I've been talking to myself all this time. if thats true I sure have a lot of diferent accents to take into consideration. Shocked

Hi

Here a very good explanation of how orbs, in general case, can be explain:  http://www.kpig.org.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Orbs_Article

Also, check on this page those 2 links:  Spherical Aberration, Chromatic Aberration

The important here is not to think that spirit can't appear on picture, but to be informed to get a better rational  approach.  So we don't fool ourself  Cheesy

I side with Spooky, that there might be some valid stuff here, but it needs more verification. I'd suggest taking two photos at a time, like with those binocular cameras that make 3-D transparencies. The perspective would either give depth to the orb through parallax measurements, or would indicate that the phenomenon is not visible to other lenses. This would be even better with cameras located far apart, one directly toward the subject, and another around to the side taking the same scene.

A second way to verify whatever these things are would be to use multiple sequential exposures, so that you take a few seconds of video. Then what the orbs are doing becomes dynamic, and we might understand them in terms of how they behave.

However, unless we believe in coincidences, the manner of their appearance seems to indicate that orbs tend to occur in a manner that has somewhat to do with the photographer and the subject. Unfortunately, I can't sort that out from my normal tendency to see faces in virtually everything, often looking back at me and changing as I see them.

I appreciate being able to look at these photos. I don't honestly know exactly how to interpret what I see. However, I do notice that some people have bigger orbs than others. Significant?

I did all your suggestions so thats why I believe, and they are good suggestions Dave. all my orbs were just in the living room, same camera in the kitchen, etc, nothing appeared in the other rooms, same time of day and it should have appeared if it was the camera lens fault, same light, and the orb over my mothers head disappeared when my mother moved out. No more large orb then, just small ones..she took the orb with her! lol. as I said it was my grandmother. but I don't expect anyone to take my word for it.
I believe its necessary to experiment and ask questions. but this is the times we are living in to unravel mysteries.

I'm convinced that there's more to this than systematic errors or photography.

Alysia's note about the orb size and such changing when Mom left is interesting. That kind of thing can be experimentally tested. Here's how to do it.

Pick a scene, photograph it under initial conditions. Count the orbs. Note their sizes.
Repeat for some period of time. Ideally, use more than 30 observation, so as to force the distribution to be "normal" (within 1%).
Average it all, to get a "baseline" value. Save all the various data.
Change conditions, and do the same routine to get the "experimental" value. Again, 30 or more trials are best.
Then either ask someone or go to Wikipedia and get the recipe for a Z-test, which will give you the likelihood of getting those specific data by chance alone. If you are more comfortable with numbers, an ANOVA could be used, including both orb sizes and number observed.
If the probability of obtaining these data is less than 5%, then psychology claims that you have a "proof" that the effect is "real".

If anyone has a collection of data of this sort and needs help crunching the numbers, I'm willing to help. PM me and we'll discuss it.

Oh yes - I know of a number of possible places that would be happy to publish experimental data of that sort.

dave

I admit I'm no scientist but Daves suggestions are good and there are people already busy at this very thing, I have no doubt about that being a born optimist.

my personal contributions I just realized are connected to other events, whereby when mother lived with me and reported nanny was talking to her about things she could have done better, etc..in her life, and also nanny would say "I'm proud of you!" to mother, etc.

I began to have a relationship with nanny in my mind and decided to have a conversation with nanny the instructions given by Bruce here how to do it by playing along.

the conversation was successful producing personal verification to my surprise. then nanny showed up after that in dreams, to encourage me and to also say she was proud of me too. this really helped me alot, to know she loved me too.
love is always the answer to spiritual growth.

so my point about the orb, was this other connecting above described event.

I understand wholeheartedly the need to conduct one's experiments, especially the photographers, but even the amateurs like me, we always need to experiment as human nature, but with an open mind preferably.

Hi Alyssia-

Understanding often begins with something as simple as an apple that falls from a tree, and the question, "Why?"

There's nothing but a few centuries and a sex change to separate you from Isaac Newton.

(Since regression indicates that we change sex about as fast as we change clothes, that part is trivial.)  Smiley

Dave, u just helped me understand what I suspected. I accepted someone's report we rarely change sex identity within different lives. it seemed logical perhaps it was true.

I know you do regressions. therefore I am knowing of your studies in this area, and I am also knowing of your fine character from feelings. I admit, I am empathic but I didn't even want to admit that much.
however, I just got this strong feeling that what you said rings true, so I am slowly progressing to genuine knowledge and learning to let go of my fears surrounding releasing old ideas to trusting my self.
bless this board we are still riding the crest of the wave..love, alysia

Regarding Dave's suggestions on how to set up situations to photograph,
could I add one more possibility--

dust in the air may be involved, I hear from one of our successful orb-catchers.  Although we think of the dust we can see, (  Cheesy  at my house they're as big as bunnies), there could be some micro-sized dust that help show or establish a 'skin' for these non-physical orbs.
So shake it out, folks, before you shoot it!

Is anyone going to try this ? My cameras have never caught an orb, and alysia is busy packing and moving.  Anyone else?

Bets

Hi Juditha-
So the orbs come and go.  -  Possibly they come and go within a minute or less. That would make me question their validity - or suspect them of being "insincere" in their orbing.

I wonder if the presence of the orbs, when they return, will tend to be clustered around the same locations? That would make me feel that they represent something in the room - and "orb magnet" or the psychic equivalent.

Obviously there's something there - the question is more to the point of what and how does it get there?

While attending Guidelines at Roberts Mountain  Retreat this past May, one of my fellow attendees took some fantastic orb pics of the house. They were taken just seconds between them and clearly show a multitude of orbs. Their were a number of witnessess at the time of the pictures, no rain nor dust. The first showing no orbs and then the second, after asking with intention to see them in the pic, lots. If I was told how to attach them I will show you them. Credit of pics goes to Wouter Velthuis.

In fact a staff member was so impressed by the pic that they asked Wouter to send it to them for a possible hanging it up in the lounge.

Hi Hawkeye  The only way i know to put photos on the afterlife is if you have them stored on somewhere on the computer like photobucket account which is where you can store your photos for free.

www.photobucket.com

Kate sent me this on how to put them on afterlife if there stored in  photobucket.

Step 1  From the Home page, click on My Album.  You should see a box at the center top of the page with three small boxes in it that say Browse.  You'll notice several tabs above the Browse boxes so make sure you're on the tab that says "Images from my PC".  It should be set on that anyway but take a look to be sure.

Step 2  Click on the first Browse button and a box will appear and you'll search for the picture you want to upload.  You have saved all your pictures somewhere all together I would imagine, so this is how you'll locate it.  As you can see, you can upload several pictures since there are 3 Browse buttons.  When you find the picture you want to upload, double click on it OR click Open.  Either one will work and you'll see the name of your picture in the Browse box. Click Upload.

Step 3  You should then see the picture you uploaded.  Now, click one time on the box that says Img Code right below the picture.   When the link is highlighted in blue you'll then left click on your mouse and choose Copy. What you are doing is copying the photo link because you're going to paste it into your post.

Step 4  If you don't already, have open the Afterlife-Knowledge site up in another brower.  You are then going to click on your post and then left click and choose Paste.  The link should appear there and if so, you have done it correctly.

After you've finished writing your post click the Preview button just below here and take a look at how your picture looks.

I hope I've given you good directions on how to do it.  I went step by step in Photobucket as I was typing this and I'm pretty sure I didn't leave anything out.  Photobucket will save a lot of pictures for you and it's really a lot of fun to know how to post pictures.

Love and God bless    Love Juditha

Greetings,

Dave said:  'So the orbs come and go.  -  Possibly they come

their validity -'

I don't follow you there, Dave. Lots of places I would, on trust alone, but not here.
If they are alive, they're not stuck in one place. Why would you expect them to be immovable?

Bets

Many thanks, Juditha and Kate,

for the steps through Photobucket! They and some earlier instruction got me past my brick wall of tech-fear.

Could I just add for Mac users
that since we have no Browse button, you don't need to spend alot of time looking for it. Use Juditha's directions and just follow the capitalized words and it'll get you through--except at peak times when non-PC users like Mac have some trouble, it seems.

Fun!

Bets

Greetings,

Sorry, thought I answered this---
these orbs are clear glass Christmas tree balls, up close. Each globe has a series of tubes criss-crossing inside to catch more light.

Since our involvement with orbs, I've apparently grown quite fond of them, because I've had two dreams now where they take the roles of smiley-faced cartoon-like characters. I do like them!

Bets
