not suicide as medium said i die in my 80s
Jun 20th, 2007 at 6:07am

Hi  I went to the hospital yesterday to have a test on the treadmill as the doctor thinks ive now got heart trouble but i could only stay on it for 10 minutes ,so the doctor at the hospital said that my ecg was inconclusive and he wanted me to have this test were they inject you with stuff that makes your heart reach the limit and then they scan your heart,so i refused outright to have this done as its uncomfortable, the doctor told me that its better i have this test as i dont want to end up with a heart attack and i still refused and i just will not have this done, the treadmill took it out of me,so i thought this is my body and its up to me what i do with it.

Now ive got people saying to me that im commiting suicide, but i know im not because this really genuine medium told me that i would die in my 80s and i really beleive in spirit and i know that this will happen,so i feel inside myself that ive made the right desision here, not because im brave as im not brave,
i just beleive that i will die in my 80s.

I guess these are kind of personal decisions Juditha, but my own view for sure is that you need to think carefully about what's on offer from medicine - it's not like you can just switch off and proceed on blind trust. I too am cautious about accepting medical treatment, but it depends on what's going on.

My personal approach is to weigh pros and cons. What kind of doctor is this (caring or remote, frightened or brave, money driven or not, whatever), does he/she/the hospital have an agenda in this, is there a real problem or are they just covering their asses re. liability, can it deliver a fix, does it entail associated or downstream risks, if it's a fix does it deliver quality of life or is it just prolongation of life at any cost. etc etc

My own experience has been that much like the rest of like it's a kind of maze. I had many years of chronic fatigue caused by low thyroid and related auto immune disease and ended up with a renal artery clot and thyroid cancer - probably as a result of the low thyroid not having been diagnosed. (that's another story)

I gained greatly from some treatments, but lost out through negligence too. I also turned down some treatments - for example radioactive iodine therapy after the thyroid was removed because it carries quite a high risk of die effects and I felt I was clear. Blood tests have confirmed it was the right choice, they were just processing me through without regard for the specifics of my situation.

I'm not sure about forecast age of death. Most readings of the future seem to be possibilities with varying degrees of likelihood of occurrence rather than set in stone, and to depend on how individuals/humanity act in the interval.

My personal sense is that we're probably never allowed to drop responsibility for those life choices that are within our span of control, that they always have implications......

Hi vajra  I went through it as well because i had an over-active thyroid about 6 yrs ago and i got lucky really as the tablets they put me on got it back to normal and then i had to see this specialist, who suggested that i take this iodine pill and that this pill would either kill the thyroid or it would not work at all or it could send under active,so because my thyroid was normal again i refused to take this pill and the specialist got a bit moody about it and took me off his books and reffered me back to my doctor.

The reason i refused it is because i am taking 5mg of carbizomole every day for the rest of my life to keep it normal and i told this specialist that i wanted just to keep taking this tablet every day and i was not going to take chances with that iodine pill and i know i made the right choice there because this tablet i take keeps my thyroid normal.I think sometimes that we are guided into making some desisions and somehow they feel like we make the right ones.

Juditha,

No medium is perfectly accurate, and no future is fixed in stone.  Free will means we make decisions and our lives on earth then reflect those choices (you reap what you sow).

Many people with spiritual backgrounds believe that nothing happens by accident.  Could the doctor's plan not be seen as an opportunity to prevent a problem early on?

Do what makes sense, but don't live by the words of a medium who is but another of us human beings, wonderful, wonderous, but imperfect by our very nature.  Dave-MBS on this board has often talked of our lives as having an infinite number of roads that we can walk upon from moment to moment.  Our free will takes us there.  The medium may have been looking down one of those roads.  Your decisions however can take you down that road, or perhaps another.

Love,

Matthew

My belief is that the future is fan-shaped.  The farther out you get, the harder it is to predict.  Just a little deviation from the expected path now could take you way off to one side or the other a way out.

Eighty may be what you are supposed to reach - but that requires that you stay on the most probable path.  Of course, that path *may* require refusing the medical intervention...or it may not.  I wouldn't make that sort of decisions based on even the best psychic - something for tomorrow, maybe, but that far out there are way too many things that could nudge you onto a divergent fate.

Juditha pls do the test as your doctor suggested, living to be 80 doesn't necessarily mean that yhe quality of life you will have will be the same as you do now...people in a coma can live to be 80, so its the choices we make that define the life we have. I hope it will all turn out for the best, take care..

I recall a Japanese story of how two Daimyos were fighting for control of all of Japan.  One felt confident in winning because a medium had told him that he would live to a ripe old age and die with his feet firmly on the earth.  The other Daimyo had heard of this prophecy but laughed at it.

When his enemy defeated the Daimyo (who was a bad person by anyone's standards),  the victor had him buried in the earth up to his neck, where passersby could take out their anger at all the death and pain he had wrought.  It took him many days to die, so they said, and he fulfilled the prophecy, for to him, he felt "old," and with his feet planted firmly in the earth.

Juditha:

On several occasions I've read words of top mediums who said they aren't 100% accurate.  They claimed to have accuracy rates from 55% to 85%.  If one claims a higher level, you might question them.

And even if the medium you saw is correct, it is very possible that part of the reason you'll live to the age of 80 is because YOU GET THE MEDICAL TREATMENT YOU NEED!

One other thing. I believe it is ethically improper for a medium and or psychic to tell a person at what age he or she will die. The very fact that a medium/psychic would tell a person such a thing is a big strike against this medium/psychics credibility.

Hi Recoverer This medium told me this on a private sitting and Deanna was there as well and he told us both that we would die in our 80s and which ever one died first ,the other twin would not be very long after. So in a way perhaps he should not have told us because on my 80th birthday i will be wondering if im going to die,so i agree with you that mediums should not really tell you when you are going to die.

Hi Juditha. Thyroid is very difficult, it's generally not well managed by the medical profession. Heaven knows, but you may have made a good choice when you refused RAI for the overactive thyroid. (although it depends on the total picture)

I'm no expert, but judging by a thyroidectomy board I spent a lot of time on those who had it rarely got good results. The impact on the thyroid seems quite unpredictable, and as a result optimisation of the replacement hormone dose to get you feeling well can be difficult. Plus you get a good size radiation dose which is not risk free either.

Those who went the surgical/removal route seemed often to do better - measured by getting their hormone dose sorted so they felt good again...

Dear Juditha
If you are concerned about your heart performance I strongly suggest you start taking CO-ENZYME Q 10.
This is an essential ingredient that the heart needs for proper functioning.
There are stories of people waiting for heart transplants who start taking COENZYME Q 10.
and their improvement of heart health is so strong they are taken off the waiting list. Can you believe that?
So dare to take this stuff and then go and do that awfull sounding strenuous test that fills you with fear and see what the result is.I bet you and your cardio  ologist will be surprised.
Keep me posted.
Cheers and stop worrying.
In some way it doesn't matter when you die...
What matters is that you have a clear awareness that you have finished or you have completed your cycle on this Planet.Completed your experience which was necessary  to be had on this plane.I believe that if one is sensitive to the big picture they will know if they have completed their cycle and is time to depart this dimension.
Don't worry too much about dying.Everyone does(even Jesus) What matters is the timing and only you really know that I feel.
Trust.....and release fear. The fear does nothing for you and you know that.
Love David9

Hi David I  made my final disision this morning when i woke up and i decided definetly that i am not having that test or any other tests, im just going to live my life until its finished,i felt this way as soon as i got out of bed and i feel inside myself that i have made the right choice, not just because this medium told me that i will live till my eightys but i just dont want to have tests done.Im on betablockers for my heart colesteral tablets and also asprin to thin my blood,so i feel i will be okay, but thanks for suggesting the COEMZYME Q 10,I will try them some day.

I suppose if your meant to die one day you will,my dad died of heart trouble and he had all these tests but they did not save him.

Thanks all of you on here for your love support and advice,i love you all.

Love and God bless  love Juditha

I agree with David about the q10 tablets. I have took them in my past after hearing how good they are. They are quite expensive that is why I stopped taking them but Dave has now made me realise that *Sod,the money* Health is more inportant, I am gonna get me some more!

There is nothing wrong with My Ticker, but I just want it to last a long while!  Smiley
