three lives lost question
Jun 18th, 2007 at 8:46am

Hi everyone, Three local lads died in a head on car crash 6th June, two of the lads died instantly and the third one the next day, my question is would the two that died instantly have gone on their journey to the afterlife together and the third on his own and do the deceased attend their own funerals, the town i live in is very cut up about the events of this tragedy my daughter was friends with one of the lads since the age of 4 she is now 19 and one of the other lads she worked beside, she has handled their death quite badly, even i have been very emotional as they were lovely decent lads, i attended the  joint funeral with my daughter which was packed out with friends and family of the lads, i felt an overwhelming sense of peace even though all around me there were tears and sadness, i'd like to think they had seen their funeral and had been proud to know how many people loved them before entering their next stage of their journey any comments/answers are gratefully received Ellie xx

Hi Ellie That's quite a blow for a small town.

The only way to know if they saw their funeral or went on together is to ask them yourself. You must know by now where to find info on this site containing more stuff about how to do that yourself. (see the stuff at the top of the page).

If you are interested in reading more about ADC's here is a list of books. Maybe one of them will pique your curiosity and reading it will lead to finding your own answers.

I hope your daughter finds some peace.

HI Ellie-
I once had a regression client who remarked that in a prior life he and his wife had a tiny cottage in which he died. He waited around until she died, and they went together off into the Light. I asked what happened next, and he said, "Oh, she went to her group and I went to mine."

It seems that the ties we hold in life are less important in death. This, however, is moderated by the fact that in death we can recognize, at least potentially, that we share our existence with all others, all of us as parts of the unity of all souls and all life, all participating in the essence of the Creator. So it seems not that we lose touch with each other, but rather that we come into closer contact, limited only by our inability to love one another. Perhaps in death we finally find a way past the material barriers that prevent us from true closeness in life.

It might be helpful to pray for and be supportive of the youngsters, absolving them of any blame or anger, such as the "How dare you die when I loved you so much," kind of emotions. Of course that also helps us who are still hanging onto the material scene.

May God bring you and your village peace and understanding,
dave
