Power animals?
Jun 6th, 2007 at 4:34am

In my psychic development class last night the lady teacher brought up 'power animals'. They are spirits, guiding you, but put themselves in the form of an animal so they are easy for you to recognise. She asked all of us to close our eyes, and try to 'see' them, and what they were. I came up with pretty much nothing. She said don't go searching for it, it will reveal itself to you.

So last night, I had this dream. I was with the mother of Katherine, the girl who commit suicide who I have described in other posts. We were going to see my mother, who strangely was living in this 3 storey house, that was built up a hill. My mother stuck her head out the window or doorway and told us to come in, she was on the top level, and strange spiritual things were happening! So i went up there, and my mother was sitting at the computer. Katherine's mother Chris, didn't want to come in. She was scared. I was too! Anyway I sat down next to mum at the PC and she pointed and said 'look!' and on the screen, every 10 seconds or so the normal PC image on the screen sort of clicked out with static was replaced with an image of a tiger's face, black and white, with a black background, with piercing eyes, looking very serious. it's head was bobbing up and down, as if it was sort of lolloping along. then it would disappear. It scared the crap out of me, But I told mum 'Oh, that must be your power animal!!' and I described the power animal thing to her. I told her, 'you have to accept it. Say after me, "my power animal is a tiger!"' As mum said 'my power animal...' the image of the tiger came back on and stayed there. She finished the sentence 'is a tiger!' and bang. It was like the tiger was freed from its looping of the head bobbing.the background became white, the tiger became white/silver, and i saw its paws take its first step, over a dead body!

Katherine's mother Chris saw all this and became VERY distraught, and actually ran out the room, and vomited! I woke up in a sweat, scared out of my wits.

So what on earth does this mean? Is the tiger MY power animal? My mother's? And why did Chris run out and throw up? Very disturbing.

Any ideas?

Greetings mikizee,

Fear is a natural reaction to the unknown. Sweat and vomit are physical reactions of the fear. Did your psychic teacher not prepare you for the vivid qualities of your power animal images?

A vision or dream of a dead body most often represents that  some aspect  of a person has died. Your mother's and your (and Chris', etc.) old selves will never be the same, so in a manner of speaking, an aspect of you all died when you saw the powerful image of the tiger. It's OK, nobody died.

I don't know whose power animal the tiger is.  Was your mother working at her computer for you or for herself? Was she looking for her own power animal?

The tiger became lighter, filled with light perhaps when becoming silver, and becoming less a drawing and more real when it was identified as having power. Your beliefs gave it power.

Spiritual development and pyschic development are two different things. Spiritual development's purpose, IMO, is to bring us into contact with a series of levels of spirit leading to the Highest Power, Highest Source, Greatest Good; Love, PUL--- or some other word meaning that--- are always involved. Bruce Moen's books somehow deal with spiritual development in a way that dissolves fear and brings new faith in love.
They are very straight forward, not at all 'preachy,' and yet they bring the same truths as many of the world's greatest spiritual sources.

IMO, Psychic development looks at the human's mind's ability to do things that civilization has not used or has kept quiet about. There's no unifying authority or theme in psychic development. Psychic skills leave their followers alone to face the unknown consequences of their actions. Fears can easily distort experiences and create warped beliefs.

Congratulations on looking beyond physical appearances for further realities! Try offering love to your power animal and watch him purr! Every creation is grateful for love.
I hope you will soon choose a spiritual path and not a psychic one to find your answers.

I tend to disagree, I think for me at least spiritual and psychic development go hand in hand. Psychic development involves for me, tapping into that greater and universal power and energy to see and learn new things, to help and to heal. My spiritual development is being able to recognise and involve myself with that greater power in the first place!

Reflecting on my dream... I have come to the realisation that the dead body that the tiger stepped over... was me! I believe the power animal is mine and not my mother's, my voice telling her to accept the animal was actually one of my guides channeling thru me to talk to me, if that somehow makes sense. I was my mother, and my guide was me! That way I could accept the information alot easier, or something.

I just received Bruce's 5th book and the CDs in the mail today. I haven't read the first 4, do you think that matters? Also I have also received TMI gateway experience cds, which will help me to get to Focus 10.

Should I listen to the hemisync cds or Bruce's first?

Bruce's 5th book and CD's are wonderfully explained and easy to get results with.  No, you do not have to start somewhere else.  Bruce's book will instruct you quite easily and the CD's are and added feature.  I find that I don't click out with Bruce's CD's.

As for Power Animals, pick up one of the two books by Ted Andrews: Animal Speak and/or The Animal-Speak Workbook.  He has wonderful symbolisms. Example: a tiger represents Passion, Power, Devotion and Sensuality.  It will awaken new passion and power within life. (page 318-319 Animal Speak.)

Hi mikizee,

Smiley  And I tend to agree with your disagreeing with my too long response. (I came back later to take it off but I wasn't able to.) However I still think you should be given means to deal with what is revealed to you without fear. I'm glad you have the other materials now too.

Hey!

Wow. another very interesting dream. I dreamt I did my first retrieval! And I haven't even done any exercises yet! I was in a house, that was related to an earlier dream, and there was an old italian lady, about 60, busying herself by cleaning the house. I hung around and chatted to her for a while. I then remember not standing there, but just sort of hovering near her, not purely in human form but not purely in a ball of energy form, either. Sort of both. I thought over in my head 'I should send her to the light!'

So I said to her, 'Have you ever seen the light?' and she replied 'No'. As she said that the wall next her her opened up with piercing white light and I told her 'you never have to clean again!!!!' (jokingly) 'and you will never be lonely again. They're waiting for you!' With that she looked dumbfounded, staring into it, but moving over to it. I took her by the arm and escorted her over, then I called for 2 helpers who took my place, on both her sides. They took her in.

And that was that! I think I had some more dreams after that. I woke up about 30 mins ago, and thought, hmmmm, did I do my first retrieval, or did I just dream/imagine that I did? Interesting, all the same.

As for my power animal, ever since I realised my power animal is a white tiger, I have seen no less than 3 commercials on TV this week that involved real white tigers!! Talk about synchronicity.

As for fear, that is dissapating. I asked my friends on the other side to remove my fear, and it has been fading away, being replaced with happiness and contentment.

*sigh* I'm going to make myself a coffee.
