Hi Mikizee,

The first couple of times listening to them might be your most profitable (was for me). Now I'm not saying they wear off, maybe the brain gets used to them ? Maybe the changes are so subtle they are hard to detect ?

I think I have said this before but it's like taking a horse to water, the tapes will get you so far, but the missing peice or trigger is different for all of us.

Keep us posted on your results,
Clive.

I had gone through the series about 10 years ago, now.  I remember the wave series as "comfortable" .  The only set in the series that I wasn't too crazy about were the ones that tried experiments " putting a piece of paper in the sink, then meditating and thinking it to set on fire.  That didn't turn me on--- I thought with my luck, my house would burn down.
The better the head set, the better the sound.  I started with the cheapees then finally bought a $35 set. Sound is much more intense.  Also, try (ha ha) to meditate when you can have complete quiet.  In the city limits, that's almost impossible.  I even take the phone off the hook, unplug the handset so I don't have to hear the "siren" sound of the unhooked receiver, then go to a room that might give me some quiet.  Of course, I have pets and they home-in on me when I meditate. Sometimes I have all 3 (2 cats and a dog) all on the same bed or recliner with me!  How annoying.  Then, of course, someone rings the doorbell or comes to the door.  And now, if I have the phone off the hook, my husband will call me on the cell phone. Now I have to remember to shut that off.
As was said, the CD series will only be a pilot to your navigation.  The "weather" is up to you. So prepare for "fowl" weather the best you can.
Try not to put too much into it.  You will have to remind your mind to be quiet and listen.  One method of "quieting" the mind is to think of a vacuum cleaner above your thoughts, and when your thoughts get too busy with clutter, think of the vacuum sucking up those thoughts.  Then, go back to the CD you're listening to.  Some people just love focus 10 and want to stay right there.  I love to go through 11 and 12 because I can feel myself soring with the sound ----wishhhhhhhhhh----.  When I'm going to focus 10, I see myself on a spiral staircase and I'm going around to each level until I get to the top of 10.  I then see myself on a pedestal.  From here I sore off to 11 and 12.  Good luck---and enjoy.  Love and Light--- Carol Ann
