Weird experience last night
May 21st, 2007 at 5:26pm

Ok. I have been told and have read that everyone has a spirit guide. I have been wanting to know my spirit guides name so that I could talk maybe more personally. I have been asking for awhile in prayers but have not gotten anything. So, I read that before I go to sleep, to ask for the name to come in a dream and to ask that I remember it when I awake. So, I did this last night. Let me say, I did not sleep well last night. I tossed and turned and slept intermittently with strange dreams which I don't remember too much about. It seems like I may have heard several names during the night but don't really remember them. But what I do remember is that at different times during the night, I would have tingling sensations on different parts of my body at different times. Then at one point, I woke up (At least I thought I was awake) and it felt like a storm coming, like wind blowing on me and then I felt my upper back rippling. I just laid my head back down and closed my eyes. I was laying there wondering what the heck just happened! It was so weird! Nothing like that had ever happened to me before. Does anyone have any idea about what that was?

Perhaps you're receiving some energetic work so you can communicate with your guidance. I've received lots of energetic work, and it has definitely enabled me to make contact with spirit guidance. I've found that energetic experiences can come in various ways. Sometimes it can be quite wild.

Some say there is no such thing as space. Everything is in the same place. It is a matter of energy levels/vibrational rates. It sure seems that way considering the various ways I've been connnected to energy. When I look around, I don't see something like a beam of energy or tube coming down from space.

Maybe it was some sort of energetic work. When I read what you said about vibration, it dawned on me, the rippling I felt in my back could be described as a vibrational rippling of sorts. It kinda felt also that someone grabbed me by the skin on my back and yanked me up while creating this vibrational/rippling feeling. It did not hurt but I did feel it happening. Anyway, it was wild!

yes, but I describe this as a train sound running over my back. didn't feel any pain from being run over by a train. lol...its hard to describe energy work. the movement of energy itself was wavy and fast. I'd agree with you on the wind sound too. it was almost like laying beside train tracks with a locomotive just scant inches away, the wind and the sound, being inside of those effects.

interestingly, I just read Bets, where she is having some work done also. love, alysia

Yes Alysia, I would agree with the train sounds and wind and movement. The movement was wavy and fast up my back. It was really wild! This is the first time this has ever happened to me so I was not sure what was going on or what to think. I am new to all of this and am still learning about it all. I want to read Bruce's books so that maybe I can understand more and try his methods of mediation to try and find my spirit guides name.

Hi shelbert,

I too found when I joined in these discussions here that such experiences start happening!  And they keep happening! Just when I'd think they couldn't get any stranger, someone here would compare them to what's been recorded by mystics through the centuries, so that would reconfirm my belief in what we're doing.

Excellent!---Reading Bruce's books opens doors to the afterlife that are very difficult to open any other way.

same here, what I described. I only described it partially because I get too wordy here.
but it was the first time, so you're not alone what you go through these days. wanted you to know that. it must have been a real important experience, as in all my 60 years of walking around trying to act normal, that was a first for me! Smiley

I do believe it was an adjustment far surpassing any chiropractor could do; as the "train" was concentrated on my back vertebrae, thus the vertebrae are reminescent of train tracks for me, combined with the rumble sound.
you may get other experiences as needed, but the same thing doesn't seem to happen twice. love, alysia
