An engineer analyses his own process of dying and
May 12th, 2007 at 9:40am

Journal W 9 May 2007

My spouse called me to tell me his boss had not come to work and there had been no message , no contact from his home and no answer. He was worried that there had been a car accident . I told him Ken was dead , he had died in bed Tuesday night .But I did not know that until he called . He said,"You do not know that , we have not heard yet .Why would you say that ?"

But later that morning the sister-in-law called to say Ken had died .She was so distraught that she had  left no more details , no idea about his passing and the mates at work had to wait until the next day to learn .The family had asked to be given some time and promised to call back the next day .

Journal R 10 May 2007 .
My husband Bill called me from work to tell me that they had just learned Ken had died in bed as I had said . While Bill and I talked on the phone , Ken came in then and stood behind me. I was laying in the study . He placed his hand on my right shoulder and said , " Catherine you have been through so much , I had no idea ".

Then he showed me the light above him when he died . He knew I had seen it the night before yet I did not recall telling him . Evidently I had visited him in dreamstate and he was confused about how much I was able to recall of dreamtime travels .He told me that I had asked him to come to teach him about the tunnels .

He showed me that his tuunel had been  attached to his navel . That he had seen the tunnel and then an energy came out of him to meet the tunnel while he lay in his body still . And then like lightning having two charges coming down from the sky and up from the ground , he had been pulled up into the tunnel like a hand had taken hold of him with gentle but imminent force .He had slipped completely free from his body .

He said my tunnel was passive like an open invitation and a choice . But he showed me that his tunnel had been  more of a come hither command . Then he laughed .

He had not been aware this was going to happen . He had left his body and was floating above it , came back in and out of it so many times that he had been confused . The attempted resuscitations had really been more confusing . But finally he had left from a still quiet form into the tunnel .

He told me that he split . He was irristably drawn to the form of his physical body and that part he could join at will becoming fully present there . But he could not fully leave it .

Another part was drawn instantly to places and people he thought about . Another part followed his wife everywhere trying to support her as she prepared his funeral . His daughter is 16 . He was only 53 .

He said he was three parts and able to pull these altogether in one spot at the body but not able to understand or could not  separate more than 3 parts .

He thought of home . He found self transported to England where it was daytime and he stood on the road  looking up at a brownstone tenement . A car passed through him. Yet he walked up the steps and could not knock on the door .

He was elated with joy at the experiences of being a fresh spirit . He wondered how a door presented a barrier behind which he had to wait behind for entrance and yet a car passed through him with no effort or effect .

He told me he had gone effortlessly to work though and did not wait for permission . He tried there to rouse some one's attention . He walked behind them in the hall and walked through them and listened as they stoically wiped away tears and pretended not to weep at the passing of their friend . He smiled as he told me how he tried to rouse them but no one had noticed .

He showed me some of the biofeedback instruments that they work on the repairing and installation of . He had tried to make something occur with the energy but nothing seemed to have an effect . Until he placed his hand on some wall hung  panel and and pushed his arm in and through it again and again . Finally to his joy,  an arm sized colouration appeared . He had spread his fingers open but these did not show up only an imprint of his arm curiously . No one had observed his phenomena though .

He promised to come to tell me more. But it had been  difficult to converse iwth him because as he was talking , I was attempting to convey this to my husband on the phone and neither of them would stop at normal conversational pauses . Finally Bill had to go as he was needed at work . Curiously just before Bill said that ,Ken said " I have to go now" .

Before he left , he showed me a vision of his daughter's wardrobe . He said , "This is for her" . And I saw something purple hanging there , a sweater or a bathrobe , an afghan ?? I am not sure . But it was doubled over the hanger .

I was looking forward to hearing from him again . But his messages came to me in the bathroom . He did not appear thankfully that time lol . He just contacted me sort of like a phone call .The water energy and the pipes in a toilet or bath amplify the spirit communication .

He said he wondered about the mass of a ghost , jokingly .And he told me he was going to act upon this new death experience analytically like the engineer he was . He said he had never had firm convictions about God or life after death but now he was filled with wonder and awe .

It occurs to me that this is the first time  I have spoken to a recently dead spirit  who is so intellectual and analytical . He is amazing in his ability to show me how he thinks and discovers  his new abilities .So rather than posting this one in my home journal , I thought I would share it here . Perhaps you might have enjoyed this too .

Journal F 11 May 2007
My husband has never before enjoyed such a level of mediumship as he did these last 2 evenings , He has had to step in and do part of his boss's job . During dinner , his deceased boss sat at the table goodnaturedly arguing with Bill as he had done in life . Bill talked with him in dreamstate two nights in a row and had to go to bed early tonight to get some much needed rest .

That's a very rich experience, Aunt Clair.

Thank you for sharing it! I hope Bill will continue to keep you updated on his states. It will be interesting to see if he can 'pull himself together.' Lol
Thank goodness for these engineer-mystics!

Do you think the steps were solid for Bill out of past habit, whereas the car moving through him had no precedent, so he had no previous mindset to refer to?

Naturally since we emphasise retrievals, I have to think that your friendship in the future may help him get over to the other side when he is done with his analysis.  Smiley

lol, this is a real gift Bets, this man, lets not retrieve him yet!! Smiley I love the way he experiments with making contact with the living, this is what will help the rest of all the people who don't know how close this dimension is to the physical. this sort of person, so he may well be on his mission to his close associates at the least.

thanks Clair, a truely classic contact with the dead story, it confirms my tentative belief in water as a conductor for spirit vibes. have to study the effects more.

also interesting about being resusitated. i have always disliked the concept of resusitation and here u demonstrate the discomfort of it for the spirit who would continue on, into his knowing of being a free spirit and exploring that.

I wonder if the 3 bodies could have been mental, emotional and etheric? each of these like a sheave, or a shedding can later take place.

very classical indeed. curious of the purple afghan. do tell if you get more on that. don't know what that means, but purple is the color of transmutation.

thanks again, alysia

Claire,

That was truly amazing.  The ease with which you could communicate with him, the richness of the experience.  Did you get any confirmation back about his daughter's wardrobe and that purple robe?  If you did, it would be the kind of objective verification that Donald on this site always wanted to see.

No retrieval is necessary here, Alyssia and Betson.  This man knows he has passed on and is in awe and dealing with giving up his attachments before he moves on. He is not quite ready yet to let go of the physical plane, so he visits places and people at the speed of thought.  Claire, if he asks, I would advise him not to go back and follow his former body.  I have heard that some spirits, instead of discarding their bodies hold a fascination about them, even after they are buried and decay - it is always unhealthy.  It is something to discard like a worn out sock.

Please Claire keep us informed.  It helps all the readers here to share this experience.

Thank you for the replies . Ken is the deceased Boss . My husband Bill was his employee . Ken's funeral will be this Wednesday . Bill and I continue to have amazing experiences with Ken .

My spouse Bill has had psychic experiences all his life. But he has never enjoyed clairvoyance or clairaudience at the level he has had with his deceased boss and friend.

After his heart surgery , Bill began to lose his esp and stopped sitting in meditation circle with me . He discovered that it was not unusual for open heart surgical patients to lose esp abilities  . That was in 2002 . Bill has not seen or heard a spirit since then not that he had much mediumship ability before the surgery . Bill had been extremely psychic , though .

But for the last three nights he has enjoyed long talks in dreamstate with his deceased boss and friend , Ken. Bill has had to take over some of the responsibilities of his Boss and these talks have made this much easier for him .

Dreamstate has often been a good place to communicate with spirits so those conversations  did not surprise me . But when Ken appeared in our  Dining Room and argued goodnaturedly with Bill , I was amazed . Bill has never been able to talk so easily with spirit .

Bill will attend the funeral on Wednesday and he might be able to speak with Ken's wife and daughter then . But  we do not know about that purple robe yet . Bill and I agree that it is important to be gentle and speak to her if and when she is ready .
