The Movie The Secret, and book and CD

it's not new. Some concepts are eternal it's just that now The Secret is creating big waves during the shift in consciousness. here's some exerpts from our local paper:

"..like attracts like..we tend to attract whatever we put our attention and energies on-whether negative or positive. We are the creators/attractors of the events in our life as a result of the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that we hold in mind and express on an ongoing basis.

If an individual continues to bemoan how poor they are, how hard life is, etc, the universal law of attraction has only one answer for you and me and tha is "It is done unto you as you believe. (sound familiar yet?)
Using the law of attraction is not a magic wand in the old fashioned sense of the word. The Secret requires willingness, diligence, dedication and desire for the individual using it.

and this.."when u begin to understand Law of attraction and understand that which is like unto itself is drawn, then it is easier and easier to understand that you are offering a signal, and the entire universe responds.
when you understand and begin to exercise some deliberate control about the signal that you offer, then it begins to be fun, because then you realize nothing happens outside of your creative control. There are no things that happen by chance or by circumstance."

Hi EE.  one time my mother, my grandmother and I went to a Kathryn Kuhlman faith healing auditorium. masses of people, expectations very high. the power of belief evident.

as Kathryn spoke there was power of compassion in her voice. My mother's varicose veins on one leg began to get very hot as she felt a spirit healing them. Suddenly she rejected the healing energy. She had brought nanny for a healing and thought the spirit had the wrong person, she talked to it. she said "not me! heal my mother!"
she heard a voice say, "as you so believe, then it shall be" and the energy left. she kept her varicose veins. Nanny didn't get a physical healing. a lot of people didn't. but a lot of people did.  if we could only believe for one second..who knows?
