It seems clear to me that every living human being has much more control over his/her physical existence than any discarnate entity, perhaps with the rare exception of a true possession.  I have seen writing about this from many different sources.

Free will implies that we have decision making abilities and may choose one course of action over another.  There would be no point to being alive in the physical world if we had no free will, nor would there be any consequence for our actions (karma) if we didn't have free will.  I think that discarnate entities would have a difficult time attaching to people and staying attached if the living person did not somehow indulge in the communication or behaviour in some way. 

All that being said, I think it is difficult to know if this evil voice is a true spiritual communication, or Gary's own inner dialogue.  Many children go through phases of imaginary contacts which end up being harmless and not a real case of spirit contact.  I think it is important to let Gary know that he is in charge, and has ultimate say over what his actions will be.  Prayer may be helpful both from him directly and from yourself.  It is clear from postings on this and other sites, that you may always ask for protection from higher divine sources and God.

There are people who specialize in "spirit release" if it is determined that a discarnate entity is interfering with things.  These include both exorcists in extreme cases, or even astral adepts such as Robert Bruce, and hypnotherpists such as our own Dave-MBS.  For me,  Deanna I will include a prayer tonight for Gary and put him in my thoughts as being free of this problem and situation.

Hi recoverer I have had that as well,the F Word and even had this voice trying to get me to say that to god but i just tell it to get lost and ask God to take it away.
