spirit send thoughts to influence us every day

We are spirit with a body not a body with a spirit. They try to guide us along the pathway of life ,thats what spirit do with love

Hi augoidien Just to answer you from spitfires theological issues on another thread. With much love and respect to you,i am given thoughts all the time by spirit, thats how im able to get messages from spirit, many mediums have said to people in the audience that there loved ones, who have passed on to spirit ,are sending them thoughts, thats why we should all send our thoughts to spirit as they do receive and give back with love, thats why when you die you talk by using your mind with spirit, that is not spirit latching on,that sounds more like possesion to me.

Love and God bless     Love Juditha

Hi, Juditha!  I would have to agree with you.

I think many people fear hearing from spirit, whether it be Holy Spirit or one who has crossed over, as they fear being "taken over."

I don't believe we can be possessed unwillingly..

I've often had thoughts that I know were not my own..it was not some kind "mind control" either.  It was like the messages you receive, distinct and clear from my own thoughts.  And yes, they do make suggestions in that manner too.  It does not interfere with free will..and is usually most helpful to listen to that voice.

Love and blessings to you!

I'm in agreement with you two, Shirley and Juditha. I've heard messages too and they never interfere with my free will and choices. I'm glad the twins joined us here, so we can watch them grow Smiley

I have to agree with Juditha, Shirley and Alysia:

I have been receiving spirit messages on a daily basis for the past two years, and I haven't been listening to a bunch of demons. I have had some unfriendly visits, but they are definitely not the norm.

I don't believe that a person can judge what receiving spirit messages is all about if they haven't become involved with doing so. All they could share is a bunch of book knowledge. If they are skeptical in nature and have demons on their mind, they aren't liable to take books that consider spirit contact in a positive way seriously.

About will, I don't believe that things are set up so that something nasty can take over our will easilly. If one does it is because in some way, one has handed over the key. Perhaps negative minded spirits have a tendency to prey on youngsters, because youngsters haven't had the chance to develop a sense of self yet.

Thanks Guys! - I had thought I was unique in this kind of thing. (Ignorant.)

A few years back I was invited to be the only man in a group taught by Shelley Stockwell-Nicholas, president of the Intl Hypnosis Federation, on the subject of Spiritual Counselling". I secretly thought it was going to be a total waste of time, but fun, and maybe I'd learn something anhow - so I had a half-open mind. During the training I experienced very little of the exotic states, but I got the idea - kinda.

Then I went home and started on my usual activitiy of mathematization of abstract mental states, and discovered that I was writing equations in any of several different styles of handwriting. This was especially interesting when I'd draw a Greek letter in a "familiar" way - but I'd never used that symbol before. Or when I suddenly would get an insight into a concept and scribble it down, writing in a clear and formal style not usual for me.

My response was to take the attitude that anyone who wants to do whwt I'm doing without interference is welcome to come and play. The rest can go back to where I came from - emptiness. That shoos them away effectively, so no induced static. Thus far I've uncovered some really interesting (to me) stuff.

I'm happy to learn that I'm not alone. Maybe this would have mad Spitfire happier - ?
