The Family Guy episode was done in humour, and indeed the punchline "all right lets go to the bank" suggests this.

The Family Guy producers probably intended this as a humourous parody of such events frequently visited in Hollywood and/or real-life.

Regardless, the use of such fear-based violence in the world today, generates violent, perpetrator-victim negative karma and habit patterns that trap those involved in a vicious downward spiral for many lifetimes; and the best advice we can give is - don't do it (don't start if you haven't; move on if you have). There are *always* better ways of doing things in the world for everyone involved, you just need to have the willingness to look for these. To want to see more clearly (Clarification; afterall, all fear = False Evidence Appearing as Real), to want to evolve new and better ways, to want to align one's own interests with that of CosmoEthics, to want to Love.
