Peter Pan the Predator

Is it a dream?  Is it a vision?  Is it an OBE?  No matter, I closed my eyes to relax asked for some of that good "Super Love" and sent some of my own back too, and I teleport to an overpass that goes over the 405 freeway in California, complete with cars driving by and some joggers.  I tell my self "This is a dream, so I can run as fast as any car."

Sure enough I dash over the overpass keeping up with the cars but not outrunning them since I probably didn't state an intent to outrun them.  I pass some pedestrians who seem to somewhat notice me somewhat.  I can even hear the traffic driving down the road but I think my ears are just hearing the gardeners outside my window who do not sound quite like cars.

The sky has a haze in the distance; As I move forward, the road transforms into something different from it's real-life counterpart:  I enter a neighborhood park that the road goes around in 90 degree angles and I decide to enter one of the neighborhoods.  I tell myself "You know you CAN fly."

So I take off from the ground -- with my arms emulating wings -- and start hovering above the houses and see a formal church in the distance.  I rapidly fly to the church and find that a haze wall is right behind it in a defiance of physical rules.  Walking into it, I decide that it is time for the haze to go and it does revealing a rich neighborhood.

I fly up onto a tall structure that seems to serve no apparent purpse and spot a large swimming pool in the middle of a dead end drive surrounded by well-built houses.  The neighbors of this sector are enjoying the pool and one person jumps in.  For a moment, I get a little nervous about whether I would feel pain if I fell off of this very tall building.  I decide I will be alright and decide to convert my arms into Dragon wings in order to please the rationalizer.  I catch a fleeting glimpse of them making a transformation into the body skeletal structure but my flight does not need them at all and I float down anyway.

I land back in the church grounds where a crowd has gathered and is not aware of my consciousness there.  I next see what I can only described as "A white duck melded onto a person's body.  The person has no human head.  I approach the duck and unleash a part of my subconscious:  A predator personality that wants to kill the duck and possibly eat it.  I have encountered this personality in my waking life but in this case, the predator wanted to go in for the kill really strongly.  On the other hand, my conscious self just wants to cuddle the duck and make it feel comfortable like I would my pets I have at home.

With this infighting between myself I come back to my C1 mode to work on this conflict.

yo Steve a complex dream!

My thoughts are; the first part you were consciously spirit travelling with your astral body - different from Phantsyman's Air Plane dream which seemed more of a vision and therefore coming from his Ego - where profound visions come from.

So the first part sounds like you were lucid out of body and freely, randomly, flying however the second part seems as if your Ego takes over and the lucid dream turns into a vision.

This is suggested by the symbols you saw.  Starting with you being ontop of a tall structure (suggesting your Ego is now talking) A swimming pool, water - symbolises the spirit world.  In the middle of a dead end drive and surrounded by high walls and your feeling of nervousness suggests you might be feeling apprehension over the spirit world.  Converting your arms into Dragon wings suggests your Ego is showing you have control. (Although this might be mixed up with a video game if you do)  talking about 'them' transforming into bodies and you feeling you don't need them suggests still an apprehension over exactly what the spirit world means to you - but you curious so you go closer anyway.

Landing in a church ground again suggests the spirit world (possibly again what the apprehension means to you) with the crowd gathering and you being an unobserved observer suggests your Will is being firm.  Now this goes into a complex part; with the ducks head on a person and your split emotions wanting to kill the duck but at the same time show affection for the duck.

My thoughts here are; your Ego shows yourself as the Duck (duck symbolising an animal that is both in the water (spirit) and on the land (earth with soil) your Ego's conflict is wanting to be the Dragon (symbolises power) however, you apprehensive of losing your power and instead of being the Dragon you see it as swopping the Dragon for the Duck.  the Dragon (self power) wants to kill the Duck (half water half land but more at home in the water/spirit) your Ego rationalises a Duck is harmless.

Steve, my interpretation sounds like another dream but hope it helps - just shout if it doesn't!  The overall theme I think is you apprehensive you will loose control of your own power in some area of your life but your Ego is showing you - you are adaptable.  lol maybe I should delete the above and just write this part!

Anyway, maybe someone else has suggestions.

Keep well
Caryn

I'm not too worried about losing power [Over people or other related things.  This does not interest me] Smiley.  The wings made by my conscious thought were intended to signify freedom of thought as opposed to power.  The way I see it right now, the ego has taken a backseat for the most part and has minimal influence over my waking life.

EDIT:  Looks like a sort of Yin-Yang theme with my current self and the old ego.

Come to think of it; bless my parent's souls for teaching me to do loving things for other people and to put my selfish desires down, which has laid the groundwork for the base of my life.  For instance, my defensive driving, holding doors for people in public places and greeting cashieers with a friendly face. Smiley  I am glad to say that the "ego/survivor dirve" has been put in it's correct place and not in the driver's seat.

In the end, dream symbols vary from person to person so this post was mostly intended as informative.   Wink

Full' Love,

Steve Ed.

P.S Edit:  Augo, you may have been correct in many ways.  That power craving part is something I have been casing asside in favor of setting intents and being my own boss.  On the other hand, I have been associating with the Dragon as a benevolent influence in my life rather than an authoritarian one.  Just one way I am taking negatives and making them shine with light.

Ok Steve!  It's good to write it down - sort of makes better sense once it's out.

If I may just say; bear in mind your Ego is important to you - it is your control over your will - and it is your Ego that says I am and so it is the driver's seat.

As your pointed out though - spiritual attainment is the training of the Ego (the ego trains itself) so as not to become egocentric and selfish in oneself but training the Ego (oneself) to be aware and awake in surroundings and situations and with this comes the compassion for and sympathy in life.

But it sounds like you know this  Wink
