Breath and internal action.
Dec 27th, 2006 at 4:19pm

Hello

Over this festive period I have really sat in the Lotus position alot. With so many days free and not much to do I decided to open up my mind and see how developed I may or may not be.

In the past I  listened to an old recording of Thich Nhat Hanh, I believe it was a live talk, at plum island, USA?

In his talk he said one of the first teachings of the Buddha is to know you are breathing in and out.

I breath in and I know I am alive, I breath out and I smile to myself.

This is quite a good start but if you are feeling a little more powerfull maybe this is a good thought.

I breath in and I know I am alive, I breath out and I create a natural place.

It is quite a strange feeling when you are in the lotus posistion and you create a small pyramid of complete claim, for your self to being with but, well there are not many completly claim pyramids in the universe and I expect they do resonate Smiley

My main point is Thich Nhat Han makes a good starting point but once you are up and running maybe creating a completly pure body/area with intent is the next step up? like tonglen.

I have enjoyed the following over the last fw days,
mind-tek, Near Death Experience Beyond & Back

This was quite powerfull, I would recommend this series.

The lord buddha deserves great praise indeed, the master who shows us what will be.
