A Puzzling Question...
Dec 13th, 2006 at 6:11pm

So I am having the hardest time beliving in the afterlife in a religeous way or in this way.......I just can't believe that we die and transform into something else capable of doing anything....even being reborn..... all that said..... everyone I have talked to on here says that we are able to reincarnate and have another life on earth etc....... well what about cloning........ what happens when humans start cloning other humans......... do those clones go to the afterlife and are they reincarnations...  I would believe more in reincarnation if females got pregnant without the aid of men because then it would be a soul traveling into the womb wanting to be reborn..........but if it is a souls choice to reincarnate, but everyone on earth decides today to never have sex again, then it would be impossible.......... we would just simply die out as a species in 100 years or so........

have at it...

TH3---
Lets take another scenario: There three women in a room and they all are talking about being pregnant. The first one says: Being pregnant is wonderful. NO problem, no pain, easy 9 months and uneventful delivery.
Number 2 says: Your're wrong.  Pregnancy is very difficult.  I tried 5 times before I even conceived. Then I was sick everyday for the first three months. For the next six months, I had terrible back pains and spasms.  The labor was 36 hours and the delivery was very painful and frightening.:
Number 3 says: No--- that's not how it is.  I had to be artificially inseminated, the had to be sewn up so I didn't miscarry. I stayed in bed for five months, and then had to have a cesarean.
Now a man overhears the conversation and says: You are all wrong. I can't have children from my own body, therefore pregnancy doesn't exist.

Each human being needs to find his/her own way of experiencing life and death.  No two people are exactely alike, no two souls experience the same lessons in the same way. Science will always be there. There will always be another frontier, avenue and expieriment to research, tear apart, prove and disprove.   What I say about the afterlife may not be what you will accept, no matter how convinced I am.  You will find your "belief" within yourself.  As I said on another thread, there is no physical description for the mind. We know it exist, but there is no tangable, physical matter to the mind.
If you read any of T. Lobsang Rampa's books, he describes a TRANSMIGRATION. That is when one soul already in a physical body agrees to allow another more advanced soul to "take over" the already born human body.  This supposidly occurs when great minds like Jesus, Buddah, Michaelangelo take on another higher soul so they can help re-shape the planet.  It's almost like cloning.  And that individual would also take on another soul. Something like when water turns into ice. The water had it's own soul. When it turns into ice, another soul joins it.  We go from swimming in to to ice skating on it.  Two but one.  Natures way of cloning.  When the ice melts, part of that soul goes into a rememberance state and the water takes over once again.
I hope this has helped you??? Maybe more questions??? We will all help.  Love and Light--- Carol Ann

The unkind thought.

A couple of thoughts..working backwards.

If the entire human race chose not to procreate, then, yes, humanity would cease to exist.

However, that still leaves many other planets to incarnate on.  But, since we are the ones choosing, its given that that will not happen.

Cloning..is not that much different than the normal course of birthing.  If one chose to have themselves cloned, then another soul would take that body.

We don't transform into anything, BTW.  We are spirits, having a human experience. Our essence, that which makes us who we are is not the physical shell we reside in, anymore than our house is who we are.  Its simply where we live.
