Well...I think I did it.
Dec 8th, 2006 at 5:14am

Hi! everyone. Well, I just can believe what have happened to me  last night (actually, was during the day, I work night shift, I sleep during the day) When I came from work at 5 in the morning I laid down in my couch to continue reading Bruce’s second book , and of course I fell sleep. I did not know what time it was but in the middle of my sleeping I opened my eyes which felt very heavy, I felt also a kind of excitement( I do not know how to explain it) and I felt some one/s on the other side of the wall that separates my living room from my bedroom. When I tried to get up from the couch my body felt light, when I turned my head (still sitting in the couch) I saw my own body laying there. I got up confused, and saw my hands and I realize I was dreaming. But, hold on, maybe I was having an OBE in my dream. So I decided to verify it. I was standing there looking at my body and I noticed that my body looked younger. My hair was up in a ponytail (I maybe looked like between 18 or 20) that was very weird I thought. Suddenly, I panicked thinking what about if I can not go back to my body; then I decided to go back to it, and seeing that nothing unusual happened I went back out again. “I am going to get some fun with it”( I remembered Bruce first book explained his experience on his first OBE, when he could jump and do whatever he wanted) So, I was going towards the exit door with my no physical  body when I turned to looked at my body on the couch. My physical self looked for a moment at me and gave this kind of look, like (don’t’ leave alone! look)
I tried to calm down my physical self (what an awkward!) shshsh…go back to sleep I felt saying, but I did not talk. Well, I went to pick up the door handle and before I touched it I realize “what a silly! I am not a physical matter right now I can not grab it! So I put my hands against the door and I went through it, I laughed, what excitement! I walked outside and it seemed it was night time. But, although was night time I could see perfectly most of the details outside the garden. It was an odd illumination on that environment I was in. I could smell the trees, and summer time in the air. It seems odd because I am in Florida and is a little cooler here. Suddenly, I wanted to have verification if I was in an OBE state. Then I remember from a long time ago someone told me to pull my finger and if my finger stretched like elastic I was in OBE. Well, my finger did extend very long. I was so happy that I wanted to fly. When I put my hands in the air ready to fly, I jump but I came back rapidly to the floor. I felt the gravity pulling down my feet, I felt disappointed and I woke up feeling very happy though for such a great experience. What do you think? Thanks and bless you all!

YEP !!    That was the real thing !!!  Congratulations !   As you have just found out, your senses are more acute, the sights, sounds  are more vivid.  You see a lot more detail that would normally be missed in C 1.     It will only get better.   When I am in OBE, I try to find a mirror.  If I see my reflection in a mirror, than I know that this may be a lucid dream.  If there is no reflection, I look at my hands.  Most of the time, they are misty gray and transparent.

You should take a quick note of where everything is before you take off in order to maintain your bearings because things can be just a little different in AP.   Your right, it is a very exciting and very happy experience.   I especially enjoy it because everything is more "real" than the reality we perceive down here.     Gravity will be a problem for awhile. It will clear up.  There are some  very easy energy techniques you can use to blast free of the pull of gravity, which is actually a part of your filters.  "What if I fall out of the sky ?"   That sort of thing.  It takes a little while to get a good handle on your invincibility !!      Love Bob  Smiley

Hi Marcela, that sounds like fun! I love it.

That you saw yourself younger, and even had a little sort of conversation with "you", that's odd...I think I never heard of this before. Though I had one time an eye-to-eye contact with "me", which was strange enough, but it wasn't the "it's real" impression like in OBEs.
From the reports I've read so far, I tend to the opinion that in most cases it's indecideble whether it was an OBE or a lucid dream. Maybe there is no real border between the two.

Thanks for sharing!

Spooky

Bob and Spooky thanks you both for the reply.
Bob, yes I was concern about the problem with gravity, I thought if you are aware of your state of consciousness in this case OBE or a dream you could do whatever you wanted. It is something that I have to work on it. You are right; I am going to make sure where is everything before I get ready to go to sleep and explore. But remember, I was reading Bruce’s book when I felt sleep. I was no prepared for this experience. Sometimes when I less expect some things to happened they happened when I less expect them. However, as I told you I am very happy that I could have this experience. Thanks Bob.
Spooky, it was very fun! And, about my physical self looking at my non physical self and my non-phy. talking to my phy. self, I do not know what that means. I know is odd but I wanted for someone in the forum, who had a similar experience, to help me to understand. If not, I just will enjoy whatever it comes (good things of course). And just to be able to talk about it with you guys is a blessing.
Yesterday I received a message from Bets asking me about if I saw my guide again after the first encounter in my lucid dream. I told him I never saw Gordon (my guide) again. Bets told me sometimes this happened. My mom told me that I do not suppose to tell anyone the name of my guide because he or she may never appear again (South American superstitions maybe). I wish I could see him again.
Oh! I forgot, I got my first Hemi-sync cd, “The Shaman’s heart,” by Byron Metcalf (approved by TMI) Guys, I love it! It is percussion (wild ones!) techno sounds and of course hemi-sync. Very, very relaxing and mystic at the same time, it transports you to another world where, in my opinion, everything is in harmony with everything (some birds chirping give it a wonderful touch. You should check it out.
Thanks, and bless all of you who read my words.
Love and Gratitude

wonderful trip Marcela. such u will be effected the rest of your life, one such journey as this. the split consciousness I have had and others have. part of your consciousness will remain in the body and part in the astral counterpart and with my experience we exchanged thoughts as would two people, the body would contain more fear than your counterpart is how I experienced it, a lower vibration perhaps, as the astral is a higher vibration, more capable of enjoying itself wholeheartedly. thanks again for letting us read of this. love, alysia

Wau! Alysia, split consciousnes! I never thought about that. It was so weird and at the same time lovely because the way my non-physical talked to the Physical self to calm it down. Like a mother to a child when he or she is afraid. I appreciate with all my heart the explanation. I have to practice more to make more progress, thanks Alysia.
Cosmic, thanks for your support. Bless you.

Smiley and blessing to you too Marcela. u have been initiated and are well on your way now is my feeling. I feel there were guides watching you also, to keep you safe on your explorations, as we are never alone and I am not the only one who has guides I know this. I have to share this one thing:

one time just before waking a hand came out of nowhere and extended itself out of a cloud as if reaching for my hand into greater awareness and the message was we are here, we are helpers and cw workers and we have been here since the beginning and we love you.
