DUAL OBE ? (Read 2774 times)

DUAL OBE ?

Had an interesting experience last night. Getting ready to leave via OBE. Started separating from the physical body when the darndest thing happened. Floated up like I always do. Felt a pull back to the physical body. Fought the pull, than heard a loud pop and bounced off the ceiling. Most of the time, I go through the ceiling. Got my bearings back. Saw a gray shadowy part of my self, which was slightly above me by a few inches. What is going on here? Brought my right hand to my face to see if I could determine what frequency I might be parked in. Saw two right hands. One was very light gray and transparent. This is the one I usually see while in AP.

The other hand that was just a little smaller and next to the astral hand, actually had color. Man, this is weird! Ran a few more tests trying to figure out what was going on. A wall of black light floated towards me. Sent out a shield to block it.
The lower frequency self did not see it. I stopped it. Caught a thought from another source. “Your being tested, it’s OK”

Felt relief and knew that this was an experiment and a lesson.
My thought. Is this what dual consciousness in OBE is about?

The “source” said, “ your need to learn how to discern between the higher states”

Stayed close to the ceiling and floated into the living room.
Noticed a lot of dust on the TV and speakers. (Memo for record, “dust the TV and speakers this week-end”) LOL

Went through the front wall. The higher frequency part of me made it OK. The lower frequency part felt a lot of resistance.
Had to help it. Tried to get airborne. Got as high as the telephone poles. The lower self would not release me, so I ended up stuck with a lower frequency baby-sitting job LOL.

Ran a few more test’s by running my hands …all four of them, LOL! through different objects to check resistance. Noticed that the wires in the wall that were hot, carried an electric current gave little to no resistance to the lower state. The wires in the wall that did not have an electrical current running through them gave a lot of resistance. My thought, were energy beings for sure!

Few minutes later, felt a pull from the physical. Returned. Blasted off for space in my regular Astral body, after making sure that I did not have any lower frequency forms hanging on to me. That was quite a load and a neat experience !! Love Bob

Hi Bob

Interesting as usual. Can't comment because you are so beyond me I have no inkling of any experiences like yours. But it is really interesting.

As close as I get to this (and this is for newbies who may feel left out if they can't obe like you can) was like the other night. I was up very late (like 2 AM after having dozed off in an uncomfortable position. So I got into bed properly and fell asleep. I think for some of us there is something important about waking up in the wee hours and falling back toward sleep for things to happen. I thought I was in some room and there was a guy there in front of me to the left, but he was dark kind of like in a shadow and i couldn't make out the face. So it startled me...that means, realizing I could see someone startled me and sent me back to waking conciousness. I couldn't have been in the phusical room as the bed is next to a shelving unit and he would have been standing in the wall behind it. But I got those streams of repeating pictures I get when I enter another space.

So your astral bodies were all in the same space. I wonder if you can send them in different directions. And what would black light be? or look like?

Can't wait to show my kid your myspace. He thinks he is so exclusive! Is that the real Dalai Lama in the MySpace? How would you know if it is the real guy or someone impersonating? I did smile when he said he was here to network.

Hi Lucy,
Bob Monroe had a lot of dual OBE's in his later trips. His lower frequency form would park near his physical form.
He would return to it just before he returned to his physical form. I think this may be what is happening here.

It just a matter of learning how to keep those forms seperated from each other. Fact of the matter. Since we are truly interdimensional beings, you travel every night. The trick is learning how to do this. You can start by saying that "as soon as I am in OBE, I ask the unconscious mind to wake the conscious mind so that it can bring the memory of that trip back to C1" This has always worked for me. Also, pay close attention to your dreams and try to recall as much detail as you can because many of your dreams are actually vague memories of actual OBE's.

In my two OBEs my body, as well as the surrounding, looked like the physical, apparently it was this lower sort of OBE. The thing with the current is really strange; you would expect if there's current in a wire, it would cause more resistance, wouldn't you. Spooky

Yeah sometimes I feel like that.

But sometimes there are these "dreams" that I can't quite categorize. I never felt like traditional-type dream analysis hit the spot (and it wouldn't for an obe) yet I don't quite know what kind of experience the dream represents.

They are adventure-story dreams but I think they were all written by Alexander Dumas because they are a bit dark. The story is the thing. But I always wake up before the resolution. If it is an obe then I definitely have ended up in a dream BST. Could that be a memory of an obe? Can't ever figure out what's going on in having that experience.

Hi Lucy. I study dreams and obes a lot. practically every day I go over my dream log looking for messages or clues of why I dreamed this or that.

its true what Bob says you can start out dreaming and begin to wake up in the dream and feel as if you have just awakened in the dream to really being there. in that case it can be called an obe..its a matter of degree of lucidity, or maybe degree of snap to attention of the mind. what I look for in the dream is a surprise element..if something gets my attention and creates a fixation of some irony, I have just stepped outside my belief system, which is a most adventurous type feeling.

feelings are very important communications to self. whether we are dreaming or in C1. they hold your belief systems intact.
if you ask yourself throughout the day "am I dreaming?" you will find you will go into sleep and also ask yourself there, "am I dreaming?" this will cause your attention to increase within dream state, if you are desiring dreamstate experiences to know yourself better.

we in C1 are always in a bst. it would be also a belief system we encounter in dreamstate, yet I would say perhaps an unconscious belief system which can be revealed. and no belief system is wrong. it is ironic we are all both of dark and light belief systems. our wardrobes are extensive. love, alysia
