I am new here and lost

Hello,
I dont know if I am writing in the right area but I am going to give it a shot. I just lost my mother in May of this year, and am so lost. I am searching for so many answers about what happened when she died, is she at peace, is there an afterlife etc etc etc. I just popped in life after death on Google and found this sight and have come upon it several times and found that to be a sign and went ahead and registered and here I am. If anybody has any insight on where I should go, or who I can speak to, or what I can read it would be greatly appreciated. I am still in shock over the whole thing, cry daily and am just not at peace. Please help!!!! I dream about her often, but dont know if that is a sign or just my brain working overtime. If someone could please lead me in the right direction!

Hi Tina,

I feel for the physical loss of your Mom.

I'm glad you've found this place. There is much help available here.

Your dreams of your Mom are a sign that she still exists, she is still alive... no longer physical, but still alive.

You can communicate with her in your dreams and through techniques you can learn here.

You can prove to yourself and experience the fact that our afterlife is real.

Your Mom is surrounding you with love right now.

I send you some of my own, to just add a little to the abundance she gives you.

I've been paying attention to my dreams really closely for a while now, and I know for certain that we can receive friendly spirit messages from them. Therefore, I believe that you can trust your dreams about your mom.

I lost my mother in nov last year. I can contact her anytime I want. theres no sadness there. it will be short contacts at first. keep the faith and try it. get back with me how you progress. I really want to know. love, alysia

Thank you for that info, I read through it and it is something I do regularly already imaginary conversations with my mother, I just always feel its in my head and all pretend. I will try that technique though. I do have one question what if she is already in the place she needs to be? For some reason I feel she has found that place, when she first died she appeared in a dream and told me she was okay and she would see me on the other side someday, she then went on to give me some kind of instruction on how she was worried about my brother and how she needed me to look after her, I dont remember exactly I just know it had to do with him. Coincidently enough, he was off doing drugs that night (he had been one year sober and fell off the wagon). Anyway I was sad after this dream because I thought I would never be able to speak to her again or contact her. But i was relieved to know she was okay and content.

Just some info, she died on the same day her father died years prior, (May 23 of this year) I feel he came to get her. She was a daddy's girl and never got over his death even though it happened when she was 18 , 51 years ago. It was funny that she went on that exact day. She had a very strong tie with her father from what she said.

Sorry to ramble, but my question is will this technique work if she is where she needs to be?

dear tina, I feel the dream state is the most likely area for most of us for those passed on to speak to us. the feeling of having imaginary conversations is self explanatory for us who remain behind and have no tangible hands on sensory apparatus to convince ourselves it is a real conversation. however that does not mean you should cease to try and get contact thru this method. since you already do talk to her, it remains for you to trust that you are heard, that your thoughts will attract her to you. she loves you and so love will often pull them towards us..all mothers the world over fuss and fret over their children, death cannot separate us.
after you release your conversation with mother and forget about it, she will be preparing how to reach you, as I said most likely for many of us, the dream state.
however you may pick up her presense in other ways if your mind becomes open and expectant. the distance between your question to her and her response arriving is in direct association to your trust level and your open mind. for me, a week or two is even needed before my intentions to have a question answered will indeed be answered.

always pat yourself on the back despite it may take this long or longer. patience is a virtue and trust is not easy to come by on our planet, and neither is open minds.
