We are spirit we know that we are of God

Hi We know that we are of God,and the whole world is in the power of the evil one.And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding to know him who is true and we are in him who is true,in his son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

This is written of the bible .
The first letter of John.

Whatever suffering,we have as our spirits are learning,we will always have gods love. When i saw the film Thief in the night were Jesus takes all who beleive in our father God and leaves them who dont,it made me feel that if God was not around,it would be really devastating and frightning,the world would be dark,no more light.

I read in this book that the spirits said through this medium,that man has no right to go into space,no right to go on the moon,as mother earth is our planet.
And man upsets the other planets by going into space.

I am going to have to say I disagree with you juditha Cry

It is my personal opinion that the bible is a elaborate storybook kept alive by the imaginations of certain individuals that cling to it to have a purpose in life. They spread this belief to their children who have little choice to but to obey it because it is the LAW in the household.

I believe in Jesus.
I believe that Jesus was an amazing man who wanted to teach the world how to truly love.

I don't believe Jesus was any more special than any one of us.
I don't believe Jesus was raised from the dead.
I don't believe Jesus would have wanted his name to be the foundation for what we call Religion today.

If god didn't want us to go into space he would have blocked it off with some type of magic force field.

Do you really think god in all his loving perfection, put humans on this earth for the sole purpose of seeing which ones would fuk up?? Just so he could DAM THEM!!!

Don't you think GOD, THE CREATOR would have more sense then to make less than perfect creations??

These are just my opinions and I don't want to cause an argument.

I just hate it when people say These are the rules of god!!
Going by the words in a book.

Hi Ra I agree with everything you have written except that Jesus was not raised from the dead, Jesus walked among his people with love and healing,so this did make him a very special person,i just wrote it on here to show what i had read at times. Just to see others veiws about it.

But it does not mean i totally accept what i have written,what i have read,it justs makes me wonder what it all means sometimes so many things have been written down through the ages,i also beleive that our true loving God would not put us in a situation where we are dammed.

God gave us all freewill.

Juditha..I must say I see so much growth in you, its awesome!

Ra..I have the same feelings towards "religion" that you do..and pretty much the same thoughts about Jesus and the bible.

I was thinking earlier..in 2000 years..Jesus must have reincarnated several times, as we all have..perhaps, through the years, the great sages? Just a thought that floated through my mind earlier today..

We all rise from the dead, don't we? I doubt that Jesus would've found it necessary to do so physically. Not that it would be impossible.

I don't believe that the World is in the control of the evil one (whoever the heck he is). We all want happiness, love, peace, and a sense of self worth in our lives. Sometimes when people don't get these things they become angry and live according to hate instead of love. Some, like an abused child, might try to find happiness and a sense of self worth through the distorted approach of being mean to others (the schoolyard bully).

No need to to bring something such as an evil one into the equation, when a little bit of psychology 101 will tell you why people do the negative things they do. The World is a reflection of our confused psychological state, not the influence of an evil one. What's next, my dog ate my homework?

Hi Shirley Love and hugs to you and thankyou for what you wrote,and also i found out the other day,that my great grandfather came from Austria in Germany,as i always thought that my name last name sounded german,but my uncle told me that he thinks when my great grandfather moved to England his last name was longer and my uncle thinks he may have shortened it.

Hi Recoverer I think the same way as you do that,we are not ruled by the evil one,as you say whoever that is,i just thought when i wrote this,why it was said.I did not write it in the beginning,John did as it was his letter in the bible not mine,so i just was curious to see what you all thought about it.

My mother was born and raised in Germany..she was a teen in the middle of that awful war..(WWII).

Our family came from somewhere in Europe, on my father's side, that is. They changed our last name also, when they came to America..it has caused grief for most of the family that has had to carry the "new" name, though they were trying to "Americanize". I lovingly refer to them as my "idiot ancestors" for doing that.. Grin

They changed it from Tshudi to Judy..so, through life, I carried as my last name, your first name nickname..

My thoughts on jesus are essentially this

The spirit of Jesus was incarnated into Jesus Christ as an enlightened spirit that was trying to show us the way of love and allowance and acceptance of others, so that humanity as a whole could develop more quickly in their spiritual journeys.

Sadly it seems that the Bible in its various forms and alterations have corrputed the word of Jesus with priests and royalty using it as a way to co-erce and control the poor, ignorant masses. From what I can tell Eternal Damnation is a scary fallacy imposed upon people to 'pull them in to line'. Afterall I keep reading that there was nothing about eternal damnation originally in the Bible but it was a deliberate mistranslation of the word 'eon', which meant a period of time. To me there is a kind of hell or hells in the afterlife but these hells are created by ourselves because of the guilt, fear and 'karmic debts' we have to pay off. We can seek help from higher spirits and then progress to higher planes.

Also historians of such issues look back to the Council of Nicea in 325 AD. The Roman Emperor Constantine was not a Christian, he was a Pagan yet he helped form much of what Christianity is today. The same guy was a bloodthirsty dictator who killed his wife and children in a brutal fashion. Not exactly a guy to idolise.

But I do not think it is fair if Jesus gets a bad rap with non Christians or whatever. I wouldn't say that Christianity is a false path, not if it is the true Christianity. In fact I wouldn't outright say any path is false for an individual its just false when imposed on other people. To me there are only a few universal truths in this universe and one of them is free choice!

I myself reject religion as an imposed path because I think it should be up to each individual to explore their own path. But I do not reject spiritual guidance and looking up to a spiritual figure. As long as the figure does not represent judgement and fear. A loving god presence would not judge a soul but merely guide it, point out the error of its ways perhaps but always remain true to the universal consciousness of love. The ultimate destiny of all spirit is to be truly one with the god, goddess, the all that is. If Jesus Christ helps you on your path then good for you.

P.S. Sorry if I offend anyone with anything I might have said but its just the perspective I have formed from the truth as I see it.
