I agree that in a way, we have no choice but to get stuck in belief systems for a while. Sometimes it is hard to know if something fits, if we don't try it on first. Eventually we learn it is best to run around naked and go streaking throught the stars. Lucy wrote on Oct 25th, 2006 at 2:10pm:Hi Recoverer
Interesting to think about belief systems, doing the thinking from the outside, so to speak. I imagine we all have alot of sub-systems that are totally unnecesary from the standpoint of the soul. I guess we just learn what we can from being in those systems.
I'm reading the Abraham-Hicks book now and I am struck by some of what they say about, for instance, if you feel angry, don't worry what others think about it because others don't know what is right for you inside. In their system, anger can be a step closer to Source than some other feelings, so being angry might be a step up for someone. Interesting, huh.
So at the time you adopted the unneccesary system, maybe it was a step closer to Source for you. Obviously you don't need it any more!
