I have been reading about St Padre Pio and he had experiences with evil spirits,because of his devotion and love of God,and he saw a vision of this person bleeding from the wounds of Jesus,he said it frightened him very much.

One morning after mass,he had the first signs of the stigmata,and he asked God to take them away,as he was embarrased by these signs on his body,that were bleeding,and then god took them away i think for a year and then his stigmata returned for 50yrs,He suffered great pain,with these wounds of Jesus.

I think thats why i had this experience with evil spirits,because of my love for God.
