A number of questions that have me in a spin.
Oct 8th, 2006 at 2:26pm

Good Day , i have a number of questions that have me in a spin. I have been reading a number of books and the more I read the more questions I ask like a toddler growing up.Like i have said in a previous post I have had a number of experiences in my life  that have confirmed my suspensions of life after physical death but still there are many many questions that baffle me and here are a few.
1) Has our human population increases so to does the soul population. Why all of a sudden is there such an increase in souls coming to earth.

2) If we have the right to choose our parents and life why does most of the worlds population live in poverty.

3) If reincarnation is true then someone that has been bad in one life will they suffer in there next physical life ie : have a disability.

4) People that have easier physical lives does there soul not progress has fast.

5) Why is it I cant spell  Wink

Thank you for taking the time in helping this toddler  Wink

Hey there Nick, welcome to the board!

I'd like to get the ball rolling here but there are others who will be able to explain a lot better so you'll have to wait for them to reply to get some good insights into all of this. But heres my views...

1) I'm not sure why on this one but naturally as humans reproduce each generation gets larger so this is just a normal progression but from what I have heard there are more souls entering the Earth at this point in time and will continue too which are gifted in many ways e.g: psychic etc which will help with the big plan of changing the world to a more spiritual conciousness place to be, a more loving place where there is no hate i think?

2) I would say some people choose to enter into their exsistance in poverty so they are more able to and with more chances to learn their life lessons/purpose to help with their spiritual growth.

3) I believe in reincarnation but not so much in karma as i believe we all choose what we have/to do in each life before entering, e.g: a disability. I believe there is karma but it happens more over a period of the life your living at the moment. Why would we enter a life with a disability you might be thinking now, once again to learn life lessons we have set ourselves. Also our life affects others e.g: the parents of the disabled child will learn lessons as well.

4) I wouldn't say their soul progression slows down or can't learn as fast because they have an easy life. Having an easy life (say being rich) has its own problems and lessons to learn from. Even if there arent any problems, theres still lessons to be learnt.

5) I have this problem too! lol

Excellent questions, Nick!  I'll give you my thoughts/beliefs on these.

There could be many reasons more souls are choosing Earth.  If there were alot on another planet that perhaps is no longer habitable, then they have to choose somewhere, eh?

There are also alot of changes coming for this planet as a whole, and perhaps some just want to be here for the "festivities."

Choosing to live in poverty or riches..as a spirit being, I could see making the choice not to be rich.  As a physical being, it would seem to be "easier" to have money, but it really isn't.  Not that I have money, lol..however, I work in a place where the clients DO have money and most of them are no happier or sadder than I am.
I supposed we choose our parents based on other criteria, rather than money.

I too, do not believe in karmic repayment.  Nor do I believe in hell, judgment, etc.  I don't think we have to "pay for the sins of the past with the future."

However, if we chose to learn certain lessons in a given life, and did not fulfill those things, then perhaps a "harder" life is what is necessary.

Ryan said it quite well..and what we might think is an "easier" life, may in reality be harder.  I personally have never wanted to be rich or have the "easy" life where I had to do nothing.
But, for some, and maybe even in my past or future, I had or will have that kind of life for a lesson on how to just "be"..which can often be harder than a life of "doing".

I'm with Ryan.

Karma is simply cause and effect. If you don't put gas in your car, its karma is to run out of gas. The cure is to add gas. If you don't learn to not fight with your neighbors, the karma is to be in a place where you fight with neighbors until you've had enough. Then you can leave because you have learned how. Or you can spend a few lifetimes ignoring the neighbors before finally deciding to get along and leaving the scene for a better one. It's your own choice.

Just because we lack money doesn't mean that we're poor, nor is the converse true.

Hi rNick,

1) You can see it the other way round: There has been always more spirits who want to make a trip down to earth than bodies available. The population increase would then be primarily caused by the state of civilization, and there's enough spirits to incarnate.

2) Some souls may be new to this earth experience and don't know what's a good life and what's not. And, possibly even a so called bad life is, seen from an outer position, a precious experience. The more incarnations a spirit has gone through, the more special and careful this spirit is able to choose the next incarnation. Maybe even in poverty, for some special reasons.

3) Not in general I tend to say. It depends on what this soul make out of the experience of the last life.

4) May be, may be not. I think that every case is very specific, like every human and every situation is very special too.

5) My idea: You were a mean teacher in a previous life...well, I don't know. Might be it's just accidental? Or it's for a special purpose, who knows what it might be good for.

As for reincarnation in general, I like what Robert A. Monroe wrote, he called it addiction. Souls are such impressed and tangled in emotions and thoughts of this human world so that they immediately want to get back and make it all better the next time, maybe they think not too much about it all, before they have made some rounds, then they slow down and look more from a distance. That's what I've seen of me too when I asked in meditation about it. As far as I remember of Michael Newtons second book, he has a bit different look at it (through his clients, hypnotically regressed), that every incarnation is very well planned and councilled by some wise helpers. I think everyone can have this kind of councelling, though some are relatively deaf to it...

(Monroe told not only of addiction, but also that here is much to learn, and spirits from other worlds are impressed when they meet an earth school graduate)

1) There are so many souls coming into the earth life now because they want to be here for the earth changes/ascension, etc. They're here to assist and be a part of it.

2) Most of the world's peoples live in poverty because that is a good way for them to learn the lessons they need to learn.

3) It all depends on what their past lives were and where they are in their spiritual development and what they need to learn. It's all about lessons.

4) Sometimes and sometimes not. Some people request an easy life. It's true that they don't learn as many lessons but then maybe they don't have as many lessons to learn.

5) You didn't study enough, you were too lazy, you didn't apply yourself???
