Can a soul get into the body of an animal, Is there any thing which can block soul or destroy it forever

Hi Lalit-
In clinical regression work I've had numerous reports that indicate that we all begin as animals and work our way up to be human - not far from Egyptian transmigration beliefs, except that it seems that we rarely or never go backwards.

Nothing can destry a soul because a soul is of the same material as the God that created it.

I can destroy, say... my thumb. I can cut it
off and burn it. My thumb is a part of me...
(Not that I'd EVER do something insane like that! But
it is an example.)
Now... a "soul"/individual (myself, for example) is a part
of "God", right?
And might he not be able to destroy me, if I wanted him too?
For example... by FORGETTING me. People can repress
memories, they do it all the time. Surely then, "God" could
repress a memory (myself in this case) and then, presumably
I would cease to exist...
I wonder if this happens sometimes?
