Sep 30th, 2006, 8:23am Thanks folks, especially Bruce - (Read 167 times)
Thanks folks, especially Bruce - Mar 16th, 2005, 6:58pm Jaden got me thinking, why I hang out here. I'd like to recall a story Ramakrishna told. An educated scholar and a simple peasant were crossing the Ganges in a boat with a few other people. The scholar looked down at the peasant, "You, fellow, have you read the Bhagavad Gita?" The peasant replied, "No, Sir, I do not know how to read." The scholar continued, "I can quote the 'Gita, and I have read the Vedas and Upanishads. Can you quote the Vedas?" The peasant replied, No, Sir, I had to work whle the gurus were teaching." This kind of thing went on for quite a while. Finally the peasant looked outside and asked, "Sir, do you know how to swim?" The scholar snorted, "No. Such a waste of time." The peasant continued, "Well, Sir, I see a strom coming, and the boat may sink. I do not know Scripture, but I know how to swim." My personal work is to do math modelling of metaphysical stuff based on experience doing past life therapy. I'm like the scholar. I'm about as old as God, and my boat will soon sink. However, because I am able to hang out here with good people, including Bruce (who kindly autographed my copy of the Afterlife How-To book), I'm learning how to swim. I'm grateful to you all. Thanks - dave

Hi, dave. How nice that you posted the above, in recognition that you yourself are still learning from others, as we all are. Liked the story very much. Personally, I like your postings, even though much of it is "way over my head", as it is your specialist field. Keep up the good work. regards, roger
The past is history, the future is a mystery. Today is a gift, that`s why it`s called the present. Let yourself enjoy today. It will never come again.

ESPECIALLY those I disagree with!!! For those who believe no explaination is necessary; For those who do not believe, none is possible.

" Thanks - dave ___________________________________ well my theory is we need each other, regardless that we may be and will be mispercieved when we try to communicate. it's like playing a game of tag here, or it was like that for me awhile back. you try not to get tagged as thats the rules of the game. then somewhere along the line you stop playing games and just spit it out...what you believe. or even what you know, but others do not believe and it may rub them the wrong way because we need new words for what we do in exploration. Monroe and some others try to give us new words like focus 23, etc. sometimes even the new words won't work for some of us, so we have to keep on inventing. I'm about as old as God too and my boat is full of holes...lol. everything that rises will sink again and rise, and sink...I'll quote Treb here, he said "physical life is a wave standing still." cool huh? and here's my daughters signature "enlightenment is when the wave realizes it's only water." the reason I told Dave he is a highly evolved soul is because he's willing to step it down for us. I have to read his posts very carefully to understand them, like Roger said some of it may be over my head. then if I read it again I understand perfectly what he said. then I just stand back and I know when I've read something perfect that I cannot add to. since we don't earn a living by posting here, you read between the lines of the posters to discover intention. my opinion is Dave's intentions are pure and unconditional and I'm learning something from him which I can't put in words just yet. so thank you Dave for bringing your communications here, for I'm not the only one who comes to learns.
