Juditha perhaps the best piece of advice I can give you is believe what you know but understand what you see. I am a big fan of the Most Haunted show, but the allegations made againt their resident medium (Derek Acorah - Please don't take this thread off topic with further discussion of that) did put a taint on it for me. The 6th or maybe 7th series is the best because it features Gordon Smith, a medium who I find to be one of the best in the UK solely because he doesn't go around blowing his own trumpet, it should also be noted that that series features a lot less of the familiar 'bumps and moans'.

But now I'm rambling lol, to sum up ALWAYS remember that with ANY display of mediumship on television you have to put it into a realistic context. You are watching a 45 minute show, which will be edited and cut to put it into the context that the producers want. Many mediums will tell stories of then they have been invited on tv only to find their words and displays hashed to show them to be conmen, so any show where mediums are shown in a positive light is likely to have been edited to do so.

There are people who follow it very closely, i'm not one of them, as far as I'm aware no official announcement has been made, but if I had to guess I would say it comes down to  several possible reasons:

1) He didn't want to do it.
2) Spirit didn't want him to do it
3) He has other commitments that wouldnt allow it
4) There was discussion somewhere that he didnt do the new series due to health problems, dunno how true that is though.
