How do animals and Insects Cross Over?
Sep 7th, 2006 at 6:40pm

Hello there,

I was just wondering how animals and insects would cross over?

Also, how do they decide where they will ultimately end up as they do not have the same level of understading as we do?

Finally how would they reincarnate?

Any ideas?

Thanks

That is a very good question.  I had a dog once that I swear felt an unwelcome presence I was feeling in my home that I perceived during an awake/asleep incident.  He too was asleep near my feet and began growling in his sleep as this presence drew near.  I am convinced to this day that his (Rocky the pitbull's) spirit was aware of mine and the other while he slept.  I believe all life force has spirit/soul in some manner and has purpose.  It got here somehow, just as we did.  It leaves here as we do, it dies.  This will be interesting to follow people's beliefs.

hi there, I've had numerous animal contacts after they've crossed; they are connected to our emotional natures or heart and we help their consciousness evolve by taking a pet into our home and even owning training horses, etc.

have interesting story; my sister trained horses and bred them and took them to shows. she was very good with them, always winning many trophies for her work.
she died before she turned 40. we had a falling out but one day she came to me while I sitting at the puter talking to someone else. we discussed our differences and I thought it was all in my head and soon realized she was really there..because lol, she said "you thought you were better than me! Angry  she kinda got me there, so thats when I knew it was a real conversation. so I took advantage and started telling her what I was feeling at the time, ect, and that I thought she had a lot of good traits, etc. we made up. and I asked what she was doing now. then I got the 2nd surprise in the conversation that she said she was attending horses on the other side! abused horses; she nursed them back to trust again, for an animal can have its spirit broken in the wrong hands, just like a person can. then i thought she is the perfect person for continuing to do what she loved to do on this side even though I thought she might take up a new interest on the other side, I think what she does is a true service as every creature deserves to be respected and loved.

hugs, alysia...

Thanks for the info so far.

Also,

Can a human who has crossed over reincarnate as an animal, plant or insect?

Could an animal choose to become a human?

Fazzans:

here is a qoute that may awnser your question; there are different takes on the matter though:

Man has transcended the animal, but not totally. Inside us there is an animal. With our conscious prayer and meditation we are trying to transcend the animal fully. By the time aspiration begins, the soul is far too highly developed ever to return to the animal kingdom.

There is no reason for a human to reincarnate as an animal, plant or insect. When I was at The Monroe Institute in one of their programs, I entered the consciousness of animals, plants, insects, rocks, etc. We can do that while in the physical to experience what it is like.

There is much debate about whether or not an animal, such as a dog, can graduate in their consciousness to incarnate as a human. In Robert Monroe's book "Far Journeys" he talks about watching those who were in line to enter into the physical life (reincarnate) again. He talks about a small dog who was so excited that he was going to incarnate into a human.

This has been discussed here before and I don't have an answer to this. I don't know if it's possible or not. I would like to think that it is because of the PUL (pure unconditional love) that dogs give to humans, even those who have been abused.

Love, Mairlyn Wink

Baby Duck is more than a babyduck Wink lol, your tag makes me see this cute little duck but your words are wise. I wonder if we thought about what animal we would see ourselves as? I see myself as a deer getting struck by a car because I don't know of the danger of crossing the street and splat! Sad  however, its humorous in a way.

the emotional nature, passions the more subtle among us would call it, is like an animal must be dominated over so not to injure each other; roust up maybe, but we hurt each other on this earth sometimes knowingly, sometimes not.
anyhoo, I really would like to see what each person's animal is to their perception if any want to share. in astrology thats a close match too. my twins are the ram; and boy oh boy they ram into life with their energy  Smiley

I KNEW this would be a post I would be interested in.  Smiley For me, I have always felt an equine presense in my life, though I was not raised around horses, I have been drawing them with suprising accuracy since I was 4.  My sign is Sagitarius, the centaur, horse body, human torso and head, very strong...archer. defender, protector.  Much of my poety has an equine theme that has never been a conscious effort to me, it just happens, and it is a very powerful image in the soul of my writing.
I am currently married to a miracle man, as I never thought I would marry a man again in all my years due to the abuse of my past marriage.  He has an inate sense into my innermost being....he calls me a "SHEEP in WOLF'S clothing."  I see in his early life that HE has been a "wolf in sheep's clothing" and he readily admits and knows it.  But his vision of me is that I am so good at looking tough and strong and sometimes yes even MEAN, underneath all that snarling, I am still an herbavor.  I am still a lamb.  I am the strongest darn lamb you will ever meet and DON"T YOU FORGET IT!  but a lamb none the less, and yes, I do expend gobs of energy trying to protect the "sheep" around me from what I have always perceived that I can see and they cannot, often in vain.  Hope this doesn't sound crazy, or condescending or goofy, it's just the "animal" mainifestation of what I feel.  I do not mean that the people I love around me are sheep per-se, what I mean is, their conscious minds are OBLIVIOUS to what many of us here on this board have experienced and cannot ever begin to share with them.  What's so funny is that this is something my husband and I talk about often.  I don't believe I have ever been an animal, but I believe if I wanted to be one bad enough, I could be.  I identify with nature on a very intimate level sometimes, and I have been heard to say that I love animals more than people, they have no hidden agendas, no natural evil in their hearts.
thanks,
Janice

hi Janice, nice post from one sag to another, whats your day? mine is the 16th.
I do also identify with the horse for it's gentle power, then the archer symbol I like because I like to get right to the point and hit the bullseye, although I guess I've been called blunt. Sad I don't like to talk about myself though, but I like to make friends. I usually offer too much info Smiley which nobody asked for!

astrology is a great study. must be something to it. I've been accused of loving animals more than people too. just comes natural I guess. I have that belief too that animals are bred to be mean if they are. that its not built into their genes except to survive or protect something they will turncoat on a human.
what do u mean you married a miracle man? I'm all ears if u speak of real miracles! love, alysia

Alysia,
My Bday is the 16th also!  LOL!  The miracle man is a miracle in many ways to me because I have for the first time in my life received, taught, learned, shared and celebrated PUL with another person in this world in the way I believe God has intended it to be between a man and a woman.  I was abused and neglected much of my life and the love of this man has eased or erased so much pain it's just a plain miracle.
He beliieves in my white flame I see on a spiritual level that I try to help people with, he is willing to take it from me if he can if it hurts me or when it feels like a curse or a burden, even though he doesn't understand it.
Love IS the miracle and I think, to kind of keep to this thread, that animals are born with with it, and we are the only creatures that can damage or ruin it.
