UNDERSTANDING THE SIGNS
Aug 23rd, 2006 at 1:58pm

I'd like to thank all of those who have helped me with my research the past few months.  It's been really interesting.  I have a few more questions, but must first tell you a short story.
My girlfriends' son recently began an affair with his older neighbor next door.  The problem is that her boyfriend, of eight years, lives with her.  Naturally he found out and I've been around a lot of drama until recently.  Once he found out, we started talking about it and he had told me he planned to leave.  After two weeks, he was still there and I was getting frustrated with the continued arguments and the presence of my neighbor and my friends' son.
I realized my girlfriends' son wasn't going anywhere because he has nowhere to go, so I started asking my girlfriend, "Why is the neighbor still here?"  You see, the girl had told him that she and my friends' son were no longer seeing each other, but I knew differently.  It upset me to have this knowledge while looking him in the face on a daily basis.  My girlfriend told me to stop worrying about something I couldn't control.  So I tried.  Then I had a dream.
I never have dreams... at least I don't remember them.  When I woke one morning the number 3219 was all I could remember from the dream so I assumed I was supposed to play the lottery.  I did for two weeks straight and didn't win anything.  During the third week, I came home from work to find one of those huge trash cans you see those big long trucks hauling up and down the interstate, in the alley behind my neighbors house.  My girlfriend pointed out the number on the trashcan and started laughing.  "You'd better play that today," she said.  The number is 3912.  I thought nothing of it, but I played again anyway.  Again no luck.  A week later, the trashcan still sitting there for apparently no reason, I came home, went to the store and by the time I set down my bag, I heard loud banging and voices coming from next door.  I turned to look out the screen and about six policemen and women were trying to break down the door of the apartment next door.  I went to go out, but the cops screamed for me to go back inside.  When it was all over, my friend, his girlfriend and her son were handcuffed and taken away.  I found out later that they found about a pound of marijuana and a nine millimeter pistol.  Then it dawned on me what those numbers I dreamt meant, and why they were positioned directly in front of the neighbors house.  I could have warned him if I understood the sign.  I guess you could say I'll be a little more observant from now on.
Bottom line is: he's Jaimacan and here illegally so I guess he'll eventually wound up being deported.  Right now they're talking about releasing him to a halfway house.
Now I could say, "I got my wish," but I didn't mean for it to happen like that.  Is that what they mean when they say we create our own reality with our thoughts?  Did I, in essence, create this reality?
I don't see how.  I don't even know if I am ascending.  I have maintained the same weight for the past 12 or so years, with no potruding belly, I never get sick and have never been to a hospital other than to visit someone else.  I don't even take medications unless you call the occassional multi-vitamin medication, and I'll be 49 this year.  I have read that during ascension we will experience all kinds of aches and pains, so I'm assuming I haven't reached that point yet.  However, my life's motto is: "The only true success in life is to be able to live your life as you please."  And I try to let others do the same.  So why wouldn't I experience the pain of ascension if ascension is in fact true?
I ask that, yet everyday I pick up the paper there's at least one article that draws my attention.  In the past two weeks alone, "Scientists think the Universe is Expanding: May have to add three more planets," (of course they're counting Pluto).  "Scientists discover Dark Matter in space: Don't know what it is."  Maybe I'm looking for something more concrete... don't know.  Meanwhile, my journey thus far has led me to the heavens, beneath the earth and into UFOlogy.  A lot of stuff to pick through, but it's all about choices right?  I just hope I make the right ones.  About to buy a good book, but don't know which of the few I've chosen is any good.  Can you help?  Here are the books:

Reincarnation, by Elizabeth Clare
Many Mansions, The Edgar Case story
The path to your ascension, Annice Booth, Mark Prophet, and Elizabeth Prophet
All about Reincarnation, by Rober Parish

Appreciate the help, and all have a Bessed day!!

Hi David

It’s an Interesting story.  Wink

I guess that our thoughts usually lead us to connect to others that have thoughts in common and thus we can subconsciously share information in order to achieve our goals (even non physical guys), it can be called inspiration.
Of course the world around us becomes a result of our acts and efforts and it all starts with thoughts. But usually we won’t change the others reality with our thoughts. So what happened to your neighbors may have been result of their behavior and their thoughts and not yours.
And about “pains” and “aches” I think it does have to do with experiences along various lifetimes, once again, as a result of our behavior/thoughts and the need to understand what they brought us for good and for bad and (not necessarily a toothache). Smiley

About Books: Sorry I’m Brazilian and I don’t know much about those authors. Sad

Hi David,

I have to say, I'm a bit confused.  I was getting interested in the story, but then you lost me.  I'm not sure what you're actually wondering about here, but to answer your question about creating your reality--you are not responsible for the actions, thoughts, and feelings of others.  You are responsible for your own though.  The people having the affair and the person with the drugs have created their own situation.  I guess I'm confused about how many people are involved in your story and who did what, not that you have to explain it again.  I was also confused about the significance of the numbers.  So what did they mean to you?  I'm also confused as to what this has to do with ascension.  What is your definition of ascension?  I'm not sure how all this ties into planets and dark matter.  About the books, I've read Many Mansions so I can recommend that one.

I was hoping you were gonna say you actually won some money.  For how much you play the lottery, I'm sorry you don't ever win.   Wink

Hi Desmith,

I can understand your confusion about this sequence of events. I'm not sure they are related since you can't remember the circumstances of your dream, but only remember the significant number. I have to wonder if the dumpster with that number on it may have been there before and somehow registered in your unconscious mind at some point when you did not notice it, and then occurred in your dream. If, however, the dumpster had not previously been there at some other time which you do not remember, then the synchronicity is interesting. I would look for more occurrences of this nature to see if there is a pattern.

Regarding the changes and not feeling bodily pains...well, I would have to say that there is a LOT of information out there which you can take and use with discretion...I think ascension, UFO's and all of these subjects are fascinating and worth studying. However, what is even more fascinating to me is the progression of our inner selves, our thoughts and feelings, our experiences and what they mean to us individually and collectively...with all of what I read and hear from others I take what is useful to me and disregard the rest. We all are on our own unique journeys.

The entire universe and beyond is inside of you, and there you will find your answers. That can seem to be a simplistic statement at times, while life can be full of surprises and confusing incidents...and these things can work together to teach us. Thanks for sharing here and keep up the good work searching for truth.

love, blink

I'm sorry if this seems confusing to you all, but I've done a lot of reading and may be combining information I've gleaned into one story.  Essentially, I read that we as humans have the ability to create our own reality with our thoughts  My wish for my neighbor to leave came true and I saw a connection when I spotted the number on the trashcan.  The significance of the number to me is this: In the 4 years I have been in this neighborhood, there has never been a trashcan that huge in the alleyway.  The trashcan did not appear in the alleyway until a week or two after I had my dream.  I do not remember the dream, but upon waking, the number 3219 was stuck in my head.  I wasn't sure if the order was right, but I remembered the numbers. The number on the trashcan is (because it is still there), 3912. (ironically, I've been told the police are still watching the house because they believe they should have found a Kilo of marijuana; so I'm waiting for something else to happen).
I failed to pay attention to the number until the day of the bust.
All the info I've read on ascension says as Earth moves closer to the Photon belt, many of us will experience psychic phenomena, aches and pains and weight gain.
I wrote: "So why wouldn't I experience the pain of ascension if ascension is in fact true?"

I wasn't really asking a question of you here, but of myself.  In answer, I listed two articles that I've read in recent weeks that seem to refer to ascension.  According to what I've read, at some point during ascension we will discover there are actually 11 planets and Pluto is really a moon (for which planet I forget).  Hence the article about the expanding universe.  The other was about the discovery of dark matter in the universe that scientists believe has something to do with gravity here on Earth...but they aren't sure.  It's not like they can get some of it into the laboratory.
Blink wrote: "well, I would have to say that there is a LOT of information out there which you can take and use with discretion..."
And I do.  I wrote: " A lot of stuff to pick through, but it's all about choices right?  I just hope I make the right ones."  I really don't pay too much attention to the UFO stuff, but I find the idea of ascension a bit far-fetched... but I don't really doubt anything.  It's called keeping an open mind.

Have a wonderful and Blessed day!!  And I hope I kind of cleared this up?

Sorry, it might just be me...but I don't see the significance of those 2 sets of numbers which were close, but different.  Maybe what's happened is you may have also been having psychic dreams about this situation and you just don't remember the dreams themselves, but they have left you with feelings about them.  Those feelings, what we pick up from dreams, leave a huge mark on us and keep nagging at us, even when we don't remember the dream.  It may be why this has been on your mind so much while your girlfriend says to just let it be.  You seem to be connected with the situation on a more underlying psychic level.

I know from my own experience that it is important to notice things around you and be aware, and I believe that it is not so much that the things themselves are pointing something out to you, but it's because it's important to watch your own thoughts.  Trying to be aware of one's own thoughts even throughout just one day is difficult because we tend to be so busy with everyday life that we can't even remember what we were thinking from one minute to the next sometimes.  Taking time to look inward and identify your feelings and thoughts is very important, especially in the concept of creating your own reality.  I think most people think, feel, and act in response to things around them instead of despite the things around them.  This is something I try to remind myself of each and everyday, and it can be so hard when you are up against negativity or unenlightenment from others.

I think we each have uniqueness in our individual experiences.  I am very much into the idea of how we create our reality.  But remember, we have thousands or millions of thoughts going through our heads each day.  I am SO thankful that everything I think about does not actually happen in physical reality.  I remember my parents saying when I was young... be careful what you wish for, it just may come true.

Cheesy Ha! I say that almosts every day!  Thanks for the response.  By the way, the only definition I have for ascension is what I've read.  Although I find it hard to believe, I don't doubt it.  I started this quest trying to find information on reincarnation and the afterlife.  Had no idea what else was out there.  I've decided that I'll just keep researching the afterlife and reincarnation.  The rest is what it is.  Mostly conspiracy theory.   Grin

Have a Blessed one.

Hi David and welcome. I'm just here rambling but enjoyed your post insofar as looking at life as if it were a soap opera, well, it is:D.
as far as ascension goes, theres another school of thought out there opposite of the theory "no pain no gain" and that is that you can make ascension as difficult as you like, or as smooth and easy as you like. I've decided rather then ascending, I'm just going to be normal and "kick the bucket." that is a joke. I'm sorry, my jokes are often rather flat Cheesy  to some.  we can make ascension easy by helping each other along the way and don't need a pot belly to do that. as a matter of fact I may be ascending (hope) and I've lost 20 lbs so that when I turned sideways, you couldn't see me Grin I didn't even miss eating, I mean it happened I didn't plan it. I just lost appetite. the way I see it, none of us make sense 100% of the time and I'm not making sense to say since I'm lighter in weight that should make me ascend faster, but in a way its a positive statement or a joke if u will, as if I fall down I have less weight to cause me to crush my bones. actually I saw this weight coming off as a result of the ascension process which is nothing but releasing the weight of belief systems which keep me attached to this dimension of unreality. (that I am flesh, and nothing else.)

on another note; I have dreams like yours. neat huh? especially intriguing is number dyslexia that goes on in dreams..you remembered 3219 yet the reality number was 3912. one of my numbers dream was $3.65, when the dream outpictured into physical reality it meant $365,000!!!! woooooooweeeeeeeeeee!! was for the sale of a house, not the lotto!   I don't know why there is number dyslexia but finding it common among some of my friends the same that there is a reverse mirroring effect also in dreams...those I interact with in dream for example, will be playing "me" and I will be playing them. like role playing reversal to make a point.
the dreams are fun, but I hesitate to put them into the category of myself ascending anymore..actually, they ground me into physical reality if anything.

anyhoo, if you are 49 and still trim of figure, obviously you don't over indulge in food or drink as so many americans do, or else we should walk, not drive everywhere.
what do you think? Wink we may be forced to walk soon what with using up our oil resources so fast.
see, I told you I could ramble as good as you can! keep dreaming and ascending, just remember what goes up has to come down too! love, alysia

For those that don't know, this is one of the stories I was talking about.  What I recently read on an ascension website already told me there would be 11 planets and Pluto would be reclassified a moon.

Astronomers Give Pluto the Boot as Planet
By WILLIAM J. KOLE, AP

PRAGUE, Czech Republic (Aug. 24) - Leading astronomers declared Thursday that Pluto is no longer a planet under historic new guidelines that downsize the solar system from nine planets to eight.

Pluto Gets Demoted

Talk About It: Post Thoughts

After a tumultuous week of clashing over the essence of the cosmos, the International Astronomical Union stripped Pluto of the planetary status it has held since its discovery in 1930. The new definition of what is -- and isn't -- a planet fills a centuries-old black hole for scientists who have labored since Copernicus without one.

Although astronomers applauded after the vote, Jocelyn Bell Burnell -- a specialist in neutron stars from Northern Ireland who oversaw the proceedings -- urged those who might be "quite disappointed" to look on the bright side.

"It could be argued that we are creating an umbrella called 'planet' under which the dwarf planets exist," she said, drawing laughter by waving a stuffed Pluto of Walt Disney fame beneath a real umbrella.

"Many more Plutos wait to be discovered," added Richard Binzel, a professor of planetary science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The decision by the prestigious international group spells out the basic tests that celestial objects will have to meet before they can be considered for admission to the elite cosmic club.

In the Planetary Club

For now, membership will be restricted to the eight "classical" planets in the solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

Much-maligned Pluto doesn't make the grade under the new rules for a planet: "a celestial body that is in orbit around the sun, has sufficient mass for its self-gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a ... nearly round shape, and has cleared the neighborhood around its orbit."

Pluto is automatically disqualified because its oblong orbit overlaps with Neptune's.

Instead, it will be reclassified in a new category of "dwarf planets," similar to what long have been termed "minor planets." The definition also lays out a third class of lesser objects that orbit the sun -- "small solar system bodies," a term that will apply to numerous asteroids, comets and other natural satellites.

Experts said there could be dozens of dwarf planets catalogued across the solar system in the next few years.

NASA said Thursday that Pluto's demotion would not affect its $700 million New Horizons spacecraft mission, which earlier this year began a 9 1/2-year journey to the oddball object to unearth more of its secrets.

"We will continue pursuing exploration of the most scientifically interesting objects in the solar system, regardless of how they are categorized," Paul Hertz, chief scientist for the science mission directorate, said in a statement.

The decision on Pluto at a conference of 2,500 astronomers from 75 countries was a dramatic shift from just a week ago, when the group's leaders floated a proposal that would have reaffirmed Pluto's planetary status and made planets of its largest moon and two other objects.

That plan proved highly unpopular, splitting astronomers into factions and triggering days of sometimes combative debate that led to Pluto's undoing. In the end, only about 300 astronomers cast ballots.

Now, two of the objects that at one point were cruising toward possible full-fledged planethood will join Pluto as dwarfs: the asteroid Ceres, which was a planet in the 1800s before it got demoted, and 2003 UB313, an icy object slightly larger than Pluto whose discoverer, Michael Brown of the California Institute of Technology, has nicknamed Xena.

Charon, the largest of Pluto's three moons, is no longer under consideration for any special designation.

Brown, who watched the proceedings from Cal Tech, took Thursday's vote in stride -- even though his discovery won't be christened a planet.

"UB313 is the largest dwarf planet. That's kind of cool," he said.

AP Science Writer Alicia Chang in Los Angeles contributed to this story.

I have another take on the dream, the trashcan with numbers..

Your neighbor's were arrested..many would say when that happens, one has "thrown their life away"..and where do you throw things away? Wink

As to ascension, I've read many things about it and have experienced some of it too.
I've not heard about weight gain though, but the aches and pains..

Cheesy Ha!  That's funny, but quite possible huh?  I have had a lot of strange things happen in my life that just can't be explained away as coincidence.  Here are two examples:
A few months ago, my girlfriend and I were in downtown DC on our way to an appointment when we decided to get a hotdog from one of the many stands downtown.  While counting the change I had in my pocket, I told her I needed another dollar to get both of us a hotdog.  Suddenly this white-haired, white-bearded White man interrupted our conversation.  He looked absolutely homeless.  He laughed and smiled, put his hand on my shoulder and said, "You need a dollar son?  Here ya go!"  He laughed heartily at my reaction and my girlfriend and I thanked him.  We looked at each other and I said, "That is the first time I've ever received money from a homeless man!"  We turned to see where he had gone, and he was nowhere to be found.  Not wanting to believe he had disappeared, my girlfriend and I just let it go and never mentioned it again.
This past Friday, I was walking downtown to my employers office to pick up a check when I passed a homeless man.  He was waving his cup at passers-by, but everyone was ignoring him.  I had two dollars in quarters in my pocket that I really didn't need and decided I'd give him a dollar when I returned from the office.  I don't like taking money out of my pockets on the street.  When I returned, I did just that, then caught the subway to a nearby liquor store to cash the check.  I walked up to a counter where there were pens and such, and proceeded to sign the back of my check.  I suddenly noticed that where I had set the check to sign it, were four quarters!  I looked around and there were no other patrons in the store, so I assumed the money was meant for me.   Grin
Coincidence?  You tell me.

Have a Blessed Day all,

David
