Spiritual Dreams ,reality or not
Aug 17th, 2006 at 4:50am

Hi I was listening to the radio this morning, and there was someone on there and she is a dream interpreter.
She was saying, that when people come to her, about certain dreams they have, especially dreaming of someone who has died, visiting in there dream.
She tells them its a sign of insecurity in there life, and anxiety.

I felt she was giving these people completely the wrong message,as our loved ones who, visit us in dream state, are spirit, and shes not putting that across to them.

She also tells people,if they dream of a future event, she does not know, as there is no evidence of that, its because the subconcious mind does not know the difference between, reality and non reality.

She maybe a skeptic or does not know anything about spiritualism.I say shes missing out.Love and god bless you all juditha

Wow, it is sad that she is such a skeptic and promoting that skepticism.  I think people who believe as she does have not had these experiences themselves, or have not opened up their hearts to see these experiences for what they really are.  It just goes to show how fear can block out perception.

Hi Juditha and Vicky and Deanna
I have future dreams too which come true. I wonder how many people here do?
we could do a poll but maybe not many. its an interesting phenomenon will take the rest of my life to figure it out and to try and explain how humans are capable to see the future without calling them crystal gazers or making fun of them. since it happens in the subconscious we all need each other to bring it to the conscious awareness and maybe it is something that can be learned and taught, such as remote viewing can be taught.
maybe we can hope in the future more people will believe and see that it can be utilized to everyone's benefit and it not due to having indigestion or some other silly reason I've heard put forth. seeing the future is not always pleasant I guess, but if you're trying to figure out how it works you can utilize it to another's benefit to teach it. or, you can just be quiet about it I guess! Cheesy  I think I talk too much...love to you all, our destiny is going to be great, my opinion.

Um, er, guys/gals -

She is right!  (And wrong at the same time).  Look, if you have something, some problem on your mind, you may very well dream about it.  Or silly things like you watch a favorite TV show just before falling asleep and then voila - you dream about it.

Dream imagery is not ALWAYS an afterlife communication.  Sometimes we work through psychological issues in dreams; Freud presented dozens if not hundreds of cases where dreams related to common worldly events the dreamer was wrestling with.

So let us not jump off the deep end.  I definitely would take a visit from a dead relative seriously in a dream.  It might even be fair to call it a "likely" communication.  But sometimes a dream is not an external communication, but one of us to ourselves about real world C1 problems that weigh heavily on our minds.

I find taking dreams apart piece by piece very helpful to spiritual growth and I agree that one will dream of whats on their mind from the day before. and sometimes the people in dreams will morph into another person. and so you must be discerning what that means. Its difficult. Not all in a dream can be taken literally to be what it represents.
but a dream is not always just a mental exercise. it can involve your core being, your heart, your emotions. if you have these components in a dream landscape it comes to a life of its own to effect your reality.
to decipher whether a spirit is actually making contact, or you are just presenting to yourself less ordinary instruction, for it is always a clue to your inner nature and what you have been thinking/day dreaming about, these dreams we find meaning of our own there to apply, as it were, food for thought.

if in the dream, at once your attention is riveted and focused upon the one you know has transitioned, and it comes to you this thought, that they are not in physical and as well your heart becomes glad that at last you meet, you may take the gladness you have been offered that you were found worthy of being visited by one who loves you. I say worthy, because any spirit, speaking of our family spirits only, and those closely bonded to in life, either by karma or agreements, come of their own free will to your side and because you did call. this is very close to PUL conditions, for then we can know that we see, but we do not see all, we can hear, but we hear not all sounds, we can touch one, but we touch not all, we can love, but not love with all our might, all of our feeling, all of our being. we are satisfied with snacks of PUL. lol.
well, love is all there is to remain after death. dreams of visitation are rare right now, but that will change with people's belief systems. meanwhile the dream landscape is the unconscious collective..you must push out of your way the objects in it, while surfing through it, so that you dive for the pearl you know must be there.

Doc always gets my motor humming. love, alysia
