In Tune in C1
Aug 5th, 2006 at 1:48pm

Sometimes no spiritual searching can equal the feeling of being in tune with everyday life here on earth. This post, by the way is taking me by surprise out of the blue on an ideal weekend sunny day.

But today has been one of those days where you go about things and everything is in tune. I went and got a haircut. The barber was a nice old fashioned Italian guy. We started talking, and incredibly, I started finishing his sentences before he said them (in my mind). Ok, coincidence. But the subject matter didn't matter, it was an exchange and a resonating of ideas about life. We both enjoyed the talk.

Everything that followed today thereafter showed a deep grounding and immediate connection with the physical world. My wife had a friend over with her three year old. My three year old, Josh was nowhere to be seen. I came into the kitchen. I saw a box of Entenmann's cookies slightly opened at one end. Instantly, I saw how Josh and CK had gotten into it, and some other goodies. It played in mind, though it happened while I was out. And so it went. A beautiful sunny day, and walking the dog, I saw a garbage can turned over. Immediately, I knew what kind of animal (skunk) was into it and when; saw the foraging and the mess as it happened. But, I can't explain it, my understanding of these situations did not impress me (detective or psychic abilities). I FELT all these routine events, as I went around, FELT the sentences before I heard them from the barber, and I resonated with it all. I obtained a deep satisfaction not from seeing scenes or hearing unspoken words, but from being so in tune today that there was a celebration in all of it. I wish I could harness this feeling. Bottle it - more valuable the the finest wine.

For all of our spiritual searching, it is all happening too right here and now. And there is something very special about this. Being here, in the physical is a very special thing; no matter what ails us, or how we search for answers to the great questions of the day, we should never lose sight of it.

Love,

Matthew

Hi Matthew,

Yes, this is a wonderful feeling.  It is what I strive for each and everyday.  This is the upwelling of our inner essence and us allowing it to flow freely throughout out entire being.  A new scientific study by the Heartmath Institute about the heart having a brain that is in control of our brain responses speaks to how this occurs physically, emotionally and spiritually.  Though the spiritual side of this is many times riddled with dogma.

What I believe happens is that we are in the same alpha state that can be reached through meditation.  I would lay odds that had your brainwaves been measured with EEG this would have shown they were around 8 Hz. and if your energy field had been measured with a magnetic detector it would also be pulsating at about that rate as well.  As I mentioned in another thread, this is a very healing state.

It is also a very natural state of being that many of us went into quite naturally as a child.  This state is where we find balance between our world and the spiritual.  It is like living in both worlds at the same time.

As we grew into adulthood, this balanced state became distorted.  This is how I believe we create illness.  Or in other words, the more we live our daily lives in an alpha state, the healthier we are.  This state can also change our health for the better.  In MHO this is what our medical fields need to incorporate into people’s lives.  I think once we all learn this, then the shift of the ages will truly come into our being.  Oh boy, I cannot wait until this is incorporated into our belief systems.

To me this state happens very naturally when we allow our inner essence to flow out of us.  We experience this just as you have described.  Where our senses are clearer, colors are brighter, the air is fragrant, and everyday mundane life is sweeter because it captures our focus in ways that are filled with joy and wonder.  All this has come from our deeper inner source.  The divine source within us.

Love,
Kathy

right. like all things are viewed as new. like a child might view the world. I do believe as I study my life, and my dreams and obes that the two worlds are both dreams and the two worlds can become as one. that is where the enjoyment of life begins to enter in. As same thing is happening to me, where Doc says, he meets the barber and can finish his sentence because he is at one with the barber, so I too meet others and spirit is what I call it, reveals something about that person, or I just feel at one with them which increases the enjoyment of that day. also I think it has something to do with a lack of fear being present, as I can remember not too long ago I did have more fear, mostly with self expression, that I must be guilty of being imperfect so I should be quiet. then I noticed we all have fear similar to this that we can feel guilty. guilt is a mask over fear. so often now, I do not feel guilt, and if I do, I think on it, to see if spirit can reveal why, and undo the guilt or fear so I can enjoy a clear mind once more.  also tragedy in a life can be looked at to reveal why it has happened.

yesterday a tragedy did occur in my little family, but I looked behind the tragedy to discover any love operating. the tragedy was our little kitten got himself a broken pelvic bone from slipping into the alley next to our house. we had to put him to sleep and everyone was crying. the good part was my daughter called her boyfriend over to help her with the decision, as it was going to be his kitten. he started crying too. everyone was undergoing some kind of cleansing due to a little kitten which stole our hearts. this is not good in itself, but the fact that it brought my daughter and her boyfriend into a bonding situation to support each other and I saw love was flowering there. they stood in the parking lot holding each other tight, all the people who have pets understood how pets bring love into our lives. nobody honked their horn at them, we all remind each other about keeping love in our lives.

Kathy, I love this sentence.  I have experienced this too. The first time was at The Monroe Institute. During each program, we have a silent meditation where we all go outside and go into the different focus levels. It's a wonderful feeling. I want to do this all the time now. Wink

Alysia, sorry to hear about the kitten but happy to read about all the love this brought out. Yes, we who love animals are very saddened when we hear of the loss of them.  Our physical minds grieve but our non-physical minds understand and know that there is no death.

Love, Mairlyn

yes you understand the pain Mair. I watched my daughter go through the what if's; what if we'd done this or that to prevent the accident? guilt was shuffled from one person to another and then she put the guilt on herself even, that she wasn't here to prevent it. I noticed its human nature to feel the guilt, even from birth we enter a fear world which isn't real. now we can become more thoughtful and make better decisions, we don't have to repeat patterns in the face of death which is but a temporary thing to allude to separation forever. we will see this cat again. I'm sure of it!

Alysia,

I had it easy starting this thread on a perfect, idyllic type day.  For one to take a tragedy, that of an injured kitten being put down, and see the same beauty in the interactions, cycle of life, death and energy, well let's just say that takes an enlightened soul indeed.  My feeling of connectedness and resonance occured in my neck of the woods, while in Israel and Lebanon there is unthinkable tragedy being played out at the same time.

My key understanding, and that of a few beautiful souls that I've met is that while we can learn from tragedy, it is not an absolute necessity of life.  Due to the nature of our minds, what we deeply believe often comes to pass.  If we believe that there is nobility in tragedy and overcoming disease/misfortune, we will create it (whether we are aware of this or not).  If we can free our thoughts, we can realize that harmony, excellent health and good things are our birthrights - if we believe in them.

Tragedy can sneak up on anyone or any group of people, but it is not our lot in life (unless we ingrain it into our belief systems - despite what pessimists might say).  As a physician, I constantly see this.  I hear older patients tell me of the inevitability of disease and disability.  And wouldn't you know it, those people often are struck in severe ways when they are older.  In other parts of the world, where nursing homes and inevitable decay are not ingrained into the belief systems, we see 80 year old men and women walking, working, carrying groceries - because that is how they expect their old age to be.  Of course diet and genetics play a role.  But intent, whether stated or ingrained in belief is a strong driving force.

But thank you, Alysia for reminding me that being in tune with C1 means being in tune with both the good and mellow events along with the tragedies.  We can feel and learn from both.

Love,

Matthew

and I'll say it again in case I didn't say it enough that I appreciate your clear communication here. and always have.  you remind me of a story of an old man who inspired me how good life can be in old age.

I used to be a rest home entertainer and the things I saw  going on in these places was usually not uplifting but good for my learning. for instance, a lady was screaming the nurses had strapped her into her chair. she was held prisoner. I'm just the entertainer. I cannot unstrap her, even though she can walk. they said if she falls she will break her brittle bones. but if she does not walk, it will break her spirit. so it was sad.

heres the man who inpired me. this one place I went to monthly, I always liked to go there as there was a man about 83 who would dance. he would pull the older ladies from their chairs and waltz around with a big smile. somehow I don't think that my music would make him happy enough to dance. he was like an angel planted in our midst of sickness and belief systems of what old age was about. another thing that struck me about this fellow was the statistics of a man reaching his 80's and still walking on two legs. women outlive men according to statistics. and evidence in the resthomes showed this report to be true. this guy had his pick of all the women to dance with! lol.   so I grew to depend on him to make my show a perky one. one day I came he was gone. they said he died in his sleep and could not find an illness or disease which would cause him to die. he just went to sleep and did not wake up. that is when I thought, he was just passing through and spread his light so that others would be touched with it during a moment of merry making.
its almost like he could see I was needing him to make the music work, so we could all see that love makes your feet move too.

hugs, alysia

Nice Thread.  Some days are just pricless.  I wish we could understand what causes the clarity.

Doc, do you remember anything that happened that would have caused you to "open up" so to speak?  If not maybe something happened while you were asleep.  A certain uplifiting dream.  If this triggers a memory or two on what may have caused you to be so tuned in let us know.
Thanks.

Rick,

I wish I could say I know how I got into the groove.  It was an ideal Saturday, when I had no pressing agenda, no work, and I was relaxed.  I had used hemisync and Neural synthesizer meditations the past week, concentrating more on the alpha frequencies. (If anyone is interested in learning more about the Neural synthesizer let me know, I may start a thread about it and hemisync).  But the key, I think was the lack of earthly responsibility that day.  So many of our work and routine activities and worries are so meaningless in the grander scheme of things.  When one can relax and be in tune with others in the physical plane without these fears and worries, it all seems to click.

I had recurrent dreams a few weeks before that there was some test I was unprepared for - dreams like this we all experience in modern society.  That was a play my conscious mind created to release some of that C1 worry I believe.

Definetly, start a thread about Neural synthesizer and hemi-sync.  I would love to hear your thoughts on that topic.  I have the Gateway series on CD but I would love to have a hemi-sync cd that would take you all the way from C1 to F27 and back without voice-overs and music etc.  Just the frequency tones.  Does anyone know if they make such a product?

Hi mediastreamer,
>>>I would love to have a hemi-sync cd that would take you all the way from C1 to F27 and back without voice-overs and music etc.  Just the frequency tones<<<
At Lifeline, the TMI program where you are introduced to F27, there was no "only frequency tones" tape, always with verbal guidance and sparily music sequences. They hand you a taking home cd, so it wouldn't be a big deal to cut it at the computer according to personal preferences.
