Eggshellseas , you say
" I have had some mind blowing experiences but you know its not like its something that occurs right before me or I call on it or that I am so spiritual that I can see auras or anything like that."
Right,
a normal life would be restful after the surprises and persecution you've experienced due to your spiritual nature, but the wonderful thing is the more you have these experiences, the greater solace they can give you, the greater feeling of love, the greater the adventure which is exhilarating, not tiring.
If you do read Bruce Moen's books, you will see how normal your spirituality can make you feel because it's real, it's a part of each of us.

Yes and be called on to do more. I'm not trying to be negative about the spiritual nature as a whole, but I get really afraid of what is there for me, It doesn't make sense but I feel that way sometimes.  I will take an interest in some of his books, I just can't at the moment.
I look at everything with an open mind now.

With regards to what God is like... I remember seeing that special on National Geographic about the lost gospels of Judas. I remember hearing that in those gospels Jesus had walked into the room where the apostles were gathered extrapolating on the notions of "the God who rules over Earth". Jesus' reply to this discussion was to laugh (not spitefully). He tried to explain to them that this God that they were referring to was in all actuality much grander than they could possibly imagine, and that he/she/it is not just a God who "rules" over the Earth, but a God of much much grander proportions. <<< (Not exact words, but something along those lines.)

Back on track with angel stories... I remember hearing a story from a relative before she passed away. She said that during WWII her husband had looked out of the porthole of the ship that he was on and saw a heavenly scene. Apparently he saw something along the lines of a gold glistening staircase headed up towards the sky in a sort of spiraling mystical way enshrouded in peaceful serene clouds. Also, after he had passed she had seen his spirit in her room, and he told her to not worry... and that everything would be alright. He said that he had prepared a place for her when she felt she was ready.

Another angel story that I've already told before... Before my brother even knew what angels were (around 4 years old), he had come in from the backyard and told my mom that a lady in white was singing to him. My mom looked out the back window and nobody was there.

Another related story... A co-worker a few weeks ago was telling me a story about his grandmother. He said that a few years ago she had suffered a heart attack and was clinically dead for about 15 min. Upon having her heart start back up again she had told her daughter that she didn't want to come back, but that it was not her time yet. She said that she was bathed in the warmest most loving light she could ever imagine. She said that there were no human words to fully describe it, but that it was the most powerfully unconditionally loving experience any human could ever go through.

Whe I was four years old my parents had a hard time with me because of my imaginary friend, his name was Micheal. I always said he was blue!
I often wonder if it was "the Micheal" that visited me, and maybe he wasn't imaginary.
