Hi, when you attempt obes do you speculate on seeing a person or a specific location in mind? from reading obe instruction books, they say first to try to make it to the kitchen or a room in your house. then when u achieve this, try going out side your front door..then gradually you can project to perhaps a library on focus 27 or even to a trusted friend who has agreed to participate with you. the reason I say this is for many years I tried to go obe and never got past the hypnogogic state where you hear voices and such. I think u are picking up astral effluvia; sound waves from previous people, or a grid signal; normally in C1 we have filters that filter out astral activity but in the inbetween state you send out antannae with your awareness and this is energy that hasn't dissolved or been transmuted..almost like a memory imprint on the atmosphere. but sometimes there are spirits about playing with you. I haven't remembered going to a library but if u get there first...tell me what it looks like! good luck! alysia
