Walrusman,
The trickiest thing I found about using Hemi-Sync CDs to shift to Focus 10 is that the shift can be so subtle we seldon realize we've made it. For example, I'm in bed one night, feeling restless, been lying there wide awake for what feels like over an hour, wishing the insomnia gods would smile on me and let me fall asleep. I'm feeling all the frustration of an insomniac. Then I suddenly feel a strong nudge in the ribs and hear my wife say, 'honey, roll over, you've been snoring off and on for the last hour and I can't get back to sleep!
Many, many times I finished listening to a Focus 10 tape thinking, 'rats, nothing happened, AGAIN! These tapes are worthless.' I now realize that the shift to Focus 10, or any other area of consciousness, doesn't have bells and whistles to denote the move. So my recommedation is that periodically, while listening to the CD, try something, anything that might indicate the shift happened without realizing it. For example, you might imagine that you are standing in your kitchen. Remember every detail of the place. Pretend you are actually there. If you are in Focus 10 you will actually be in your kitchen, or where ever you imaginne yourself to be. Then all that's left to do is gather some kind of evidence you can use to prove that to yourself.
