troubled dreams and recurring dreams; mood changes
Jun 16th, 2006 at 5:30pm

Hello everyone,
my comrade sven_und_jen directed me to this forum in order to ask questions and converse about the afterlife and other spiritual matters. lately, i have experienced many dreams (in the past week or 2) that have involved tornadoes. not only does the tornado seem frightening and significant, the fact that it keeps re-occurring also seems significant.

sven has also had dreams with recurring themes; some of his dreams happen to be boat related or involve boat activities. if anyone could advise us to the meaning of these dreams, we would greatly appreciate it.

lately, my mood has been sinking into depression. i do not enjoy doing many common activities that i have long enjoyed, and have also lost my motivation to try new things. this has been occurring on and off since january. i feel that this may be related to struggles that i (and sven) have had recently with religion; we are trying to grasp the idea of whether a deity as an entity exists, or does not exist.

sven has also experienced periodic depression for similar reasons. we are not sure what measures to take; any advice would be welcome.

Welcome to this board, Generic,

Stay here and you will find that you are part of a greater Reality and you have a specific purpose here on earth.  The greater deity is Love and it is Real and you are connected to it always, because you are part of it, and you Are it.  Whatever ups and downs you experience are all encompassed in this greater presence, who Knows you.  When we reach out we find Love, here, there and everywhere.  Our emotions are tools to lead us into new experiences.  Rise and fall on the waves of your emotions, realize that you are human and that all experiences here and beyond lead you into greater knowledge and greater love.  There are so many here who can share with you and help you find your way.

love, blink

Hi GenericTSS,
doubts about and changes of beliefs (especially those like religious) can cause deep depressions. I think if you know the cause of a depression you are half way out of it. But of course you must find out for yourself, sometimes unfortunately it's very difficult to find a cause for depression. Then it's important to learn to read the signs when it's coming for being prepared. And, before it's going too bad, to realize that help is needed like for a "bodily" illness.

Concerning the tornados, I searched the dream forum (hey people I think the search engine has become better!) and found these threads, addresses:

Blink is right, look for the light, but I know, to start doing it when feeling bad can be very difficult.

Welcome Tss. I agree with Blink that PUL or love is the diety and that we are all one being finding each other in our connections. keep searching, and its true when you're crashing you may not want to do the things you enjoyed before until you heal from the crash. but we are all in the same boat, and changes are not always comfortable. there is always light at the end of the tunnel though.
May I suggest visualizng that you can get assistance and understanding through calling upon your guides or your higher self? then be patient and see what happens. this is how I get all sorts of questions answered. hugs, alysia
