Hi, joejoe2288,
You say, "... If/when we are reincarnated, are we able to remember our past lives once we return from earth?..."
Well, personally I believe that we do but, obviously, cannot prove it. My reasoning is that during past life regressions (of which I`ve expereinced a few now) we are taken back to previous existences in the physical. Now, if our soul/spirit from those existences went to the Afterlife without being able to remember them how would we be able to remember such experiences in our present incarnation? In other words, how would forgotten experiences be able to be brought forward to later incarnations?
Also, spooky2 is correct when he says "... Maybe you know the ones you love now from another life and you chose to meet again in this life, a start as new human persons, but maybe not so new as spirit...", as proved by Dr. Brian L. Weiss in his excellent series of books on past life regressions. In his last one, Mirrors of Time, he includes a past life regression CD so you can try it for yourself. It`s excellent! Have a go, you will be surprised at the results.
In one of my past life regressions my partner was my daughter. There is no doubt our families/friends were families/friends in previous existences, but in different roles - all part of the learning curve.
