I was wondering how many of you can cause an out of body experience at will, since the gateway program requires it to explore focus 21, and beyond, and Monroe, Robert A, used this to explore focus 55, and other authors say this is a must for after true after life knowledge, other then bruce, who is connected with bob monroe on the same disk, but I was wondering how if you have this ability to incure an obe at will how strong is you physic ability is??

I found this web site to test a person ability, but I can't do it with any success if my life depended on it, so I invite you to test this out to see if it's just me, other is a very common human condition.

I've seen Bruce say that OBE's are not necessary, that you can enter focus levels thru your imagination. Have you read his Afterlife Knowledge Guidebook yet?
Physical wounds can entangle with the etheric body and make pulling the etheric from the physical difficult and perhaps dangerous. I'm dealing with ramifications of that now--no fun.
Why are you seeking an OBE?
And I'm not trying to be contrary, but just for sake of discussion--psychic ability can show in some areas and not others. So an OBE would just be one means of moving beyond the material world.

Hey kodakball, a good site that dives into your questions a lot further (that Kyo recommended to me) is the www.astralpulse.com site... It's all about obe, and it's very good.

I personally have felt the "pull" of my astral body while meditating/stimulating various chakras, but have yet to experience a full blown obe. -- I'm working on it.

Well that is one of the reasons I'm asking, in the gateway series, there is a track called the lift out procedure, but when I perform this technique, I feel the energy body moving up, but I can't complete the separation. But I need some kind of info on the lift out procedure, that is where I stuck for now.

I did have a look at it, but the method doesn't really work that well for me, compared to when Bruce does this method in his books, in order achieve the same results, I got the gateway CD series to try and reproduce Bruce’s results, but I have yet to talk to a helper the same why Bruce did at the TMI, the native Indian as best as I can remember. If you have any further insight, please inform. Embarrassed
